NFL Divisional Playoffs - Point Spread Picks

PLACE YOUR BETS!!!
We have come to the point where games become fewer and the chance to earn dollars becomes thinner. With eight teams left in four remaining contests, we still have the potential to run the table and gain a big payday. We still hold a 12-game lead over the .500 mark which is a wonderful sight for overall winnings. Nevertheless, the goal is to always run the table and that’s what we intend to do. Follow us and good luck this week.

NFL Divisional Weekend – Predictions (Projected odds makers @ Jan.15.2021 – 12:00PM EST)

Saturday Jan.16

LA Rams @ Green Bay -6.5
The Green Bay Packers are coming off the bye and will be rested to take on one of the best defenses in the league. With Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams chemistry at an all-time high – the matchup verse Jalen Ramsey will have everyone’s attention. The Packers are good enough to move the ball with regularity, but we won’t be surprised if there is something of a letdown.

The Rams on the other hand have been winning contests on the back of their ground game and playing great defense. With Aaron Donald and company ready to again put the stamp on locking down offenses – this will be the largest challenge they’ve had all year. If the Rams can control the clock and force punts from Green Bay, there is a possibility of an upset here and its very real. While we likely side with the Packers, the spread should be closer then expected.
ADF Pick: LAR +6.5 LAR 18 GB 32 (L)
SoJash Pick: GB -6.5 LAR 18 GB 32 (W)

Baltimore @ Buffalo -3
The primetime contest on Saturday has the Bills hosting the Ravens in what will be a true dog fight. The Bills have showed they can hang with the best in the business, as Josh Allen holds a 5-0 record verse top-10 defenses this season. While the Ravens defense is one of the better units, they’ve seen all season – Allen and this pass happy offense should generate points as they have all year.

When discussing the Ravens, all eyes are always on Lamar Jackson and how to appropriately stop him from breaking free. Containment is the game plan, but the Bills will have to account for J.K Dobbins and Gus Edwards as well. We fully suspect the Ravens to use the clock in the same fashion the Colts did on the Bills last week – which could pose to be a concern for Buffalo. Nevertheless, the Bills look to be the better all-around team, but will have to play mistake free football, while stopping the great Raven run game. This could go either way, but we’ll side with the Bills.
ADF Pick: BUF -3 BAL 3 BUF 17 (W)
SoJash Pick: BAL +3 BAL 3 BUF 17 (L)

Sunday Jan.17

Cleveland @ Kansas City -10
The Cleveland Browns are becoming this year’s Cinderella club and are consistently moving the ball with a great system. The Browns offense is predicated upon the run game and is led by Nick Chubb. What transpires from that great run attack is the opportunity to hit the opponent with the play action pass. The Browns will have to control the clock and keep Patrick Mahomes on the sidelines, while scoring touchdowns over field goals.

The Chiefs on the other hand are coming off a week of rest and will have their typical game plan ready to attack. Mahomes and company can score at will, whenever they choose and will be a major problem for the Browns. With the odds makers baiting us all to believe this will be a blowout of sorts – the Browns have proven to at least keep pace with very strong teams. Nevertheless, we do believe Kansas City will be victorious, but will not cover this spread.
ADF Pick: CLE +10 CLE 17 KC 22 (W)
SoJash Pick: CLE +10 CLE 17 KC 22 (W)

Tampa Bay @ New Orleans -3
To conclude the weekend slate of contests, Tom Brady is taking travel to New Orleans to faceoff against Drew Brees and the Saints. While we had the Saints as our offseason prediction to go all the way to the Super Bowl, this will be a very tough team to overcome. Brees is likely heading to retirement after this season and he’ll want to go out as a champion. The Saints are healthy and still one of the best all around rosters in the entire league. Facing a pass defense that is prone to give up big plays – the Saints should move the ball with regularity.

The Buccaneers have seen a tale of two seasons this year and now have a club that appears to be moving in the right direction. Looking far better in terms of chemistry and overall output, Brady will of course be ready to lift his game once again to another level. Never in his career has Brady lost three times to the same club and that’s exactly what could happen on Sunday. While we would like to side with the Bucs in this contest – the Saints are far too deep and should sake off all the demons of early post season exits in this one. We’ll ride with the home team.
ADF Pick: NO -3 TB 30 NO 20 (L)
SoJash Pick: TB +3 TB 30 NO 20 (W)
