Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Ryan Tannehill

Ryan Tannehill Quarterback #17 Miami Dolphins |  Height : 6-4    Weight : 216    Age : 30 Born : 7/27/1988 Lubbock, TX College : Texas A&M Experience : 7th season High School : Big Spring HS [TX] The Perception: Its rather astonishing to witness the Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill enter his seventh season donning the turquoise and orange, as it feels like just yesterday he walked across the podium on draft day. The former receiver turned quarterback has definitely enjoyed varying levels of success and hardship during his short career. Evaluating Tannehill for the 2018 season came with great enthusiasm as many positive trends from his game clearly stood out when reviewing the five completed seasons on his resume. As we all know, the 2017 season for Tannehill was lost to an ACL injury relegating him to the sideline for the entire year, watching Jay Cutler come out of retirement and learning the game further from the coaching perspective.

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Will Fuller

Will Fuller Wide Receiver #15 Houston Texans |  Height : 6-0    Weight : 180    Age : 24 Born : 4/16/1994 Philadelphia, PA College : Notre Dame Experience : 3rd season High School : Roman Catholic HS [Philadelphia, PA] The Perception: When the Houston Texans drafted Will Fuller in the 2016 NFL draft, many criticized the move suggesting he wasn’t good enough to become a true difference maker in the league. The largest knock on Fuller during the scouting process, was his obvious lack of size for a receiver playing the outside with a lean frame difficult for evaluators to envision any team kicking him inside to man the slot. Adding to that, the consensus had grave concern for the lack of hand size Fuller possesses, believing that would limit his ability and increase frequency with dropped passes on the biggest stage. With all the negatives well documented, teams still had a difficult time looking away from Fuller’s lightning quick feet and elite level speed and accele

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders Wide Receiver #10 Denver Broncos |  Height : 5-11    Weight : 180    Age : 31 Born : 3/17/1987 Bellville, TX College : Southern Methodist Experience : 9th season High School : Bellville HS [TX] The Perception: As John Elway and the Denver Broncos look to remove the unpleasant smell of last season’s offensive production, Emmanuel Sanders will again receive his opportunity to become an extremely high contributor. The cliché is always the same when discussing players that’ve had an off-year, suggesting they have lost a step and/or they aren’t the player they once were. Emmanuel Sanders is floating in that same territory of discussion whenever the Denver Broncos offense is brought up in conversations with colleagues regrading current year perceptions. We for one aren’t buying into that observation and see Sanders as a prime candidate to rebound in 2018. Last season was one of the worst campaigns witnessed for Sanders since his days in Pittsburgh (2

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott Quarterback #4 Dallas Cowboys | Height : 6-2    Weight : 238    Age : 24 Born : 7/29/1993 Sulphur, LA College : Mississippi State Experience : 3rd season High School : Haughton HS [LA] The Perception: As the Dallas Cowboys enter their third season with Dak Prescott under center, expectations have risen amidst the turnover in rostered players specifically wide receivers that will be catching balls form the former Mississippi State pivot. Thus far Prescott has enjoyed both great success and enigmatic play based on the team’s surroundings and individual player situations providing a skewed template of how to accurately evaluate the young talented quarterback.      Since Dallas selected Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft, we’ve all witnessed the progression in Dak’s game while observing some form of regression last season as Prescott was forced to put the team on his back without their star running back Zeke Elliott providing pressure

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - AJ Green

A.J.Green Wide Receiver #18 Cincinnati Bengals |  Height : 6-4    Weight : 210    Age : 29 Born : 7/31/1988 Ridgeville, SC College : Georgia Experience : 8th season High School : Summerville HS [SC] The Perception: With AJ Green entering his eighth NFL season and producing at levels that rival the best in the game, it’s unbelievable he doesn’t garner more national attention like his counterparts from say Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and New York. Perhaps it’s the easy going soft spoken nature of Green that doesn’t attract the attention as he’d prefer to let his game speak for itself rather than create unnecessary drama onto his team. While some believe Green should be more vocal given the caliber of player he is, we find no fault in supporting an all-star talent simply generating numbers consistently while avoiding the pitfalls of being dragged into situations not conducive to a positive atmosphere. ADF has been a giant supporter of AJ Green going back to his days wit

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Jamison Crowder

Jamison Crowder Wide Receiver #80 Washington Redskins |  Height : 5-9    Weight : 177    Age : 25 Born : 6/17/1993 Monroe, NC College : Duke Experience : 4th season High School : Monroe HS [NC] The Perception: As Jamison Crowder enters his fourth season in the NFL, expectations could be no higher for the electric playmaker to take the next step in his development. Jamison already has made a name for himself as a productive, reliable pass catcher able to make plays and bail out his quarterback with sound route running and a quick first step off the line. Since entering the league with the Redskins, Crowder made himself an integral part of the offensive system becoming one of Kirk Cousins favourite targets along the way. In his rookie campaign, Crowder finished the year as the third leading receiver statistically behind Jordan Reed and Pierre Garcon. Following up an impressive start to his career, Jamison found his way to garner more production (in year two) standin

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Marquise Goodwin

Marquise Goodwin Wide Receiver   #11 San Francisco 49ers |  Height : 5-9    Weight : 180    Age : 27 Born : 11/19/1990 Lubbock, TX College : Texas Experience : 6th season High School : Rowlett HS [TX] The Perception: Entering the NFL back in 2013 Marquise Goodwin was known by many as a world class track star that played football. That perception never sat well with the speedy wide receiver as he was never shy to voice that displeasure through media channels stating he was a football player that also ran track. Clearly from day one the proverbial chip was placed on his shoulder to prove the masses he indeed could play this game at the highest level despite his naysayers. Marquise began his career with the Buffalo Bills being selected in the third round (78 th overall) in the 2013 NFL draft under the Doug Marrone/Doug Whaley regime. His blazing speed was the obvious attraction for NFL scouts believing they could find creative ways to integrate him into the offensiv
