Pittsburgh Steelers Offseason Workbook - 2020

Pittsburgh Steelers 2019 Record: (8-8) 2 nd AFC North       2019 Season Recap: Offense Points:  18.1 (27 th ) Yards:  276.8 (30 th ) Pass Yards:  186.3 (31 st ) Rush Yards:  90.4 (29 th ) Defense Points: 18.9 (5 th ) Yards:  304.1 (5 th ) Pass Yards:  194.6 (3 rd ) Rush Yards:  109.6 (14 th ) The best way to describe the 2019 season for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was a year filled with injury and lost time. With expectations riding high to prove they could be a winner without Antonio Brown on the roster, everything went sideways on the offensive side. Losing their starting quarterback (Ben Roethlisberger) in week two, it ended up being a season long injury which would derail the full potential of this club. Having to settle for backup options, Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges took over the reins for the remainder. Adding to lost productively from this offense, James Conner and Juju Smith-Schuster were also frequent visitors to the medical room.

Cincinnati Bengals Offseason WorkBook - 2020

Cincinnati Bengals 2019 Record: (2-14) 4 th AFC North     2019 Season Recap: Offense Points:  17.4 (30 th ) Yards:  323.1 (26 th ) Pass Yards:  228.2 (19 th ) Rush Yards:  94.8 (25 th ) Defense Points: 26.2 (26 th ) Yards:  393.7 (29 th ) Pass Yards:  244.8 (21 st ) Rush Yards:  148.9 (32 nd ) When the Bengals chose to move in another direction from the lengthy tenure of Marvin Lewis, attaching their ship to the youthful potential offensive genius of Zac Taylor was the result. Taylor’s pedigree was the outcome of his attachment to Sean McVay, which encouraged the Bengals to believe they could recreate some of that great fortune witnessed from the Rams. Nothing resembling a powerhouse was witnessed in year one from Taylor and this Cincinnati squad, but a full tear down had to be expected. As the season wore on, it became clear that the notion of a full rebuild was on the docket, so Taylor could hand pick players to fit his needs. With that, th

Seattle Seahawks Offseason WorkBook - 2020

Seattle Seahawks 2019 Record: (11-5) 2 nd NFC West     2019 Season Recap: Offense Points:  25.3 (9 th ) Yards:  374.4 (8 th ) Pass Yards:  236.9 (14 th ) Rush Yards:  137.5 (4 th ) Defense Points: 24.9 (22 nd ) Yards:  381.6 (26 th ) Pass Yards:  263.9 (27 th ) Rush Yards:  117.7 (22 nd ) The Seattle Seahawks have seen a great deal of change these past few seasons and long gone are the days of the dreaded Legion of Boom. Altering the way in which this team is set up, it appears this club has more of an offensive makeup rather than focusing on defense. And while the team stats will back that notion, the play on the field would suggest much of the same. The biggest move to come from the season was the addition of Jadeveon Clowney in a trade with the Houston Texans. Looking to revamp the defensive side with this move, Clowney didn’t light the stat sheet a blaze in the sack department. However, his presence was felt and gave the Hawks more ammo i

Chicago Bears Offseason WorkBook - 2020

Chicago Bears 2019 Record: (8-8) 3 rd NFC North     2019 Season Recap: Offense Points:  17.5 (29 th ) Yards:  296.8 (29 th ) Pass Yards:  205.7 (25 th ) Rush Yards:  91.1 (27 th ) Defense Points: 18.6 (4 th ) Yards:  324.1 (8 th ) Pass Yards:  222.1 (9 th ) Rush Yards:  102.0 (9 th ) When the Bears hired former Andy Reid disciple Matt Nagy to be the new face in Chicago, everything opened like a Cinderella story fit for a storybook finish. Going 12-4 in 2018 but seeing grave misfortune off that “double-doink” missed field goal in the wildcard loss to the Eagles – optimism was supremely high for the 2019 edition of the Bears.   Seeing three major adjustments to this roster before the season began, first was the trade of Jordan Howard to the Eagles, then the signing HaHa Clinton-Dix to add more punch to an already stout defense, to finish off in drafting the high potential running back David Montgomery. For a club that went 12-4 the season prior

Carolina Panthers Offseason WorkBook - 2020

Carolina Panthers 2019 Record: (5-11) 4 th NFC South     2019 Season Recap: Offense Points:  21.2 (20 th ) Yards:  341.8 (19 th ) Pass Yards:  228.1 (20 th ) Rush Yards:  113.7 (14 th ) Defense Points: 29.4 (31 st ) Yards:  374.5 (23 rd ) Pass Yards:  231.0 (13 th ) Rush Yards:  143.5 (29 th ) When we take a look back at what the Carolina Panthers were and subsequently what they should’ve been in 2019, the outlook is vastly different. Long gone is the fabulous 2017 campaign which saw the Panthers strike fire to finish 11-5, making it clear this club is in transition. After yet another sub-par finish while missing the playoffs in consecutive seasons, Carolina parted ways with their long time bench boss Ron Rivera. While it’s easy to place the blame on the head coach, many obstacles lead to their demise in 2019. First and foremost, the recurring injuries to Cam Newton placed this unit in dire straits as they were forced to roll with a revolving
