Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs Wide Receiver #14 Minnesota Vikings |  Height : 6-0    Weight : 191    Age : 24 Born : 11/29/1993 Alexandria, VA College : Maryland Experience : 4th season High School : Our Lady of Good Counsel HS [Olney, MD] The Perception: When Stefon Diggs entered the NFL, the casual fan really had no idea how talented the former fifth round selection out of Maryland truly was. Diggs started his career slow missing the first three contests of that 2015 inaugural season, only to showcase his abilities in week four of his rookie season. Word began to travel quick, as on a weekly basis Stefon was able to create plays in bunches generating great statistics in the process. Over the course of his three-year NFL career, Diggs is proving his development with consistency and regularity on the field. Stefon Diggs currently holds two debatable perceptions that could be difficult to defend in discussion circles; one being his inability to complete a full season without inj

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Tom Brady

Tom Brady Quarterback #12 New England Patriots |  Height : 6-4    Weight : 225    Age : 41 Born : 8/3/1977 San Mateo, CA College : Michigan Experience : 19th season High School : Serra HS [San Mateo, CA] The Perception: Entering his nineteenth season in the NFL at the ripe age of 41 years young, the great Tom Brady continues to defy all odds playing into what normally would become a decline to most in terms of ability, Brady still manages to surprise with little sign of slowing down. As the Patriots recover from last years Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, Bill Belichick and company will again put their best foot forward in hopes to hoist yet another championship before Brady rides off into the sunset as one of, if not the best quarterback to ever play the game. While Brady’s legacy is already set in stone, he’ll continue to chase history becoming the unquestioned GOAT (greatest of all time) as we begin the 2018 season. While its difficult to find any perception

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Mike Evans

Mike Evans Wide Receiver #13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Height : 6-5    Weight : 231    Age : 24 Born : 8/21/1993 Dallas, TX College : Texas A&M Experience : 5th season High School : Ball HS [Galveston, TX] The Perception: Whenever a discussion arises about the 2014 supremely talented wide receiver draft class, Mike Evans remains a constant in those conversations as one of the best to come out that year. Entering his fifth season in the NFL, Evans has seen a fantastic level of success with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which forced the team to reward and secure his services beyond his rookie term fifth year option, locking Evans up for an additional five seasons to the tune of 82.5 million dollars with 55 million of that being fully guaranteed. Upon signing his new lucrative contract, not one negative perception came to pass from media circles suggesting the money and term wasn’t on par to what Evans has produced on the field, and we fully agree.         Mike Evans

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Odell Beckham Jr

Odell Beckham Wide Receiver #13 New York Giants |  Height : 5-11    Weight : 200    Age : 25 Born : 11/5/1992 Baton Rouge, LA College : LSU Experience : 5th season High School : Isidore Newman HS [New Orleans, LA] The Perception: For any young super star that literally bursts on the scene and gains national attention, the scrutiny becomes magnified whenever something is said or done on or off the field. Odell Beckham Jr has been no stranger to both positive and negative perceptions of actions done throughout his short career. Early on the largest knock on Beckham was the level of maturity which at times became a distraction to the Giants organization. Often, team’s management and coaching staffs will look the other direction when talent speaks volumes on the field, which Odell has proven on a weekly basis. Going back in review on the 2017 offseason when Beckham and his agents were haggling for a new contract before his rookie deal had expired, those questions of h

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - Robert Woods

Robert Woods Wide Receiver #17 Los Angeles Rams |  Height : 6-0    Weight : 195    Age : 26 Born : 4/10/1992 Gardena, CA College : USC Experience : 6th season High School : Junipero Serra HS [Gardena, CA] The Perception: Since entering the NFL back in 2013 being selection by the Buffalo Bills in the second round of the NFL draft, Robert Woods has enjoyed varying levels of success thus far in his NFL career. When Buffalo took a chance on the young, relatively undersized pass catcher from the University of South California, it was clear they were getting a player that would take on the responsibilities of being a secondary receiver with very high upside to potentially be the go-to target in year one of their roster transition. Woods showed flashes of solid play in his first season in the league but was hampered by a weak pass game limiting his statistical performance building a perception early that he wasn’t as advertised. The remainder of his career in Buffalo s

Player Spotlight & Fantasy Outlook - CJ Anderson

C.J. Anderson Running Back #20 Carolina Panthers |  Height : 5-8    Weight : 224    Age : 27 Born : 2/10/1991 Richmond, CA College : California Experience : 6th season High School : Bethel HS [Vallejo, CA] The Perception: It’s always intriguing to discuss a player that has seen good levels of success in his career while entering the league as an undrafted free agent. When the Denver Broncos took a shot on the former California product, expectations were obviously lower than that of a drafted player, but Anderson continued to make noise showing his worth from season to season. While Anderson began his career on the sidelines patiently waiting in a reserve role behind the likes of Knowshon Moreno and Montee Ball, the 2014 campaign allowed for opportunity and Anderson literally ran away with the starting role. During the course of the net four seasons in Denver, CJ Anderson found ways to be quite productive even in a pass happy offense lead by the great Peyton Manning
