PLACE YOUR BETS!!!

With only two weeks left in the regular season, this will be the last opportunities to secure big winnings until next season. This week has many contests that are ripe for the picking and we intend to have a banner event to stack the bank account. Follow us as we enter week 16.

NFL WEEK 16 – Predictions (Projected odds makers @ Dec.24.2020 – 12:00PM EST)

Friday Dec.25

Minnesota @ New Orleans -7
The Vikings are on their last legs in attempts to find their way into the post season and even if they are victorious these next two weeks, they will need help. Facing the Saints who got Drew Brees back, it will be a tough road to start week 16 on Christmas Day. Getting the run going to set up the play action pass is the only way for Minnesota to stay competitive.

The Saints on the other hand looked better in the second half of last weeks showing, as Bress shook off the rust and led his team a near victory. Still without Michael Thomas, the Saints will lean on Alvin Kamara which should lead them to another victory. This one could get killed late, and we believe it will.
ADF Pick: MIN +7 MIN 33 NO 52 (L)
@SoJash Pick: MIN +7 MIN 33 NO 52 (L)

Saturday Dec.26

Tampa Bay -9.5 @ Detroit
The Buccaneers are coming off a comeback win against the Falcons, a team that Tom Brady clearly owns in that regard. Facing the Lions, the day after Christmas, we fully expect them to settle in and find that big play potential we saw in the second half last week. We could be witness to a tune up contest, but we have little faith in the Bucs defensive secondary at the moment.

Even though the Lions are once again a complete mess overall as a team, Matthew Stafford proved he is one of the toughest players in the NFL. With nothing left to play for other than jobs for next season, we could see the Lions again pack it in. The Bucs will be looking for blood and this spread feels a little to vast for our liking. However, the Lions should fold late to inflate the score.
ADF Pick: TB -9.5 TB 47 DET 7 (W)
@SoJash Pick: TB -9.5 TB 47 DET 7 (W)

San Francisco @ Arizona -5
The complete loss of the season for the 49ers is simply due in part to all the injures they have suffered. With Nick Mullens now pegged to possibly miss this matchup, third string solutions will be played against the Cardinals who are still very much alive. The outlook offensively looks dire this week for San Fran.

As for the Cardinals, they showed well last week in a battle with the Eagles. Having the ability to pull out this victory – they remain in the hunt to even win the division. Kyler Murray looks to have regained his early season form and will find holes to run through. The Cards need this game in the worst way and we believe they will be on point.
ADF Pick: ARZ -5 SF 20 ARZ 12 (L)
@SoJash Pick: SF +5 SF 20 ARZ 12 (W)

Miami -3 @ Las Vegas
To close out the trio of contests for the day, the Miami Dolphins take travel to Vegas to face the Raiders. The surprise here is that Vegas intends to start Derek Carr in this matchup amidst the groin pull we witnessed last week. With their playoff lives in the balance – Carr is playing to give them the best shot to win. They will have to get their ground game going and exploit Darren Waller.

While we would like to side with the Raiders on this one, Miami has been playing good defense and will come heavy on the injured Vegas quarterback. With how poor the Raiders defense played last week, its difficult to get behind them verse a club that is moving the ball with solid regularity. Miami keep up their winning ways.
ADF Pick: MIA -3 MIA 26 LVR 25 (L)
@SoJash Pick: MIA -3 MIA 26 LVR 25 (L)

Sunday Dec.27

Atlanta @ Kansas City -10.5
The poor Falcons again found a way to blow another lead and lost the contest to Tom Brady. This week taking travel to Kansas City to face Patrick Mahomes – we fear for the fanbase of the dirty birds. Mahomes and company are looking to tune up their play as they enter the postseason, and homefield with the bye is on the line. We fully expect him to take advantage of this weaker Falcons secondary.

The Falcons and Matt Ryan continue to battle each week and simply aren’t seeing the results. The run defense has been much better of late, which could be a problem for the Chiefs. Even without Julio Jones on the field, Atlanta has found ways to remain competitive in games to kill large spreads. Atlanta has only dropped three games by more than 10-points this season and we’ll play it safe here.
ADF Pick: ATL +10.5 ATL 14 KC 17 (W)
@SoJash Pick: KC -10.5 ATL 14 KC 17 (L)

Cleveland -9.5 @ NY Jets
The Jets are coming off what was a complete shocker last week in beating the Rams for their first win of the season – but that surely will be the anomaly. Hosting the Browns who are built to run the ball and now exploiting the pass game, no way we envision the Jets competing in this one. Don’t let last weeks fluke sway you in anyway.

Over the past several weeks, the Browns have been impressive offensively, especially through the air. Baker Mayfield has been trusted to sling the ball with more regularity and has been succeeding. The defense is rested on behalf of the run game, controlling the clock and will displace the Jets with ease.
ADF Pick: CLE -9.5 CLE 16 NYJ 23 (L)
@SoJash Pick: NYJ +9.5 CLE 16 NYJ 23 (W)

Indianapolis -1.5 @ Pittsburgh
At this point, we truly don’t understand why the odds makers continue to disrespect the Colts verse the spread. This is however a positive for the betting public as Indy is playing extremely sound football on both sides. Taking travel to Pittsburgh is the only concern here – but how poor the Steelers have played; we are extremely comfortable in siding with the Colts.

When it comes to the Steelers, they have become a hot mess on the offensive side which is forcing the defense to pitch shutouts. With them not able to move the ball, the defense is clearly gassed by the second half of ball games. The Colts defense is very sharp and will bring the heat on Big-Ben, which will lead to many more opportunities for Philip Rivers. The Colts keep moving here.
ADF Pick: IND -1.5 IND 24 PIT 28 (L)
@SoJash Pick: PIT +1.5 IND 24 PIT 28 (W)

Chicago -7.5 @ Jacksonville
The Chicago Bears have found new life behind Mitchell Trubisky, which has also lifted the ground game with David Montgomery. Adding to that, like any defense looking for support – Chicago has lifted their game on that side as well, because they realize they will put up points now. Facing the Jags who are in the tank and looking for the first overall pick in the draft – they will cave early.

The Jags are trying to play a cat-and-mouse game on not saying who will be their starter at the quarterback position - but this will be of no consequence. Regardless of who suits up – the Bears will be ready with their playoff lives on the line. Travel is the only fear here for the spread not being covered, but we’ll take the bait.
ADF Pick: CHI -7.5 CHI 41 JAX 17 (W)
@SoJash Pick: CHI -7.5 CHI 41 JAX 17 (W)

NY Giants @ Baltimore -10.5
The Baltimore Ravens need to continue their winning ways if they want a date in the postseason. With the Steelers stumbling and the Browns finding a winning formula – Lamar Jackson will have to put on another show here. The run game is getting back to business and becoming the focal point again, which should be an issue for a beat-up Giants defense.

Even with Daniel Jones looking to get back in behind center, mistakes could be had with rust on his arm. The Giants offense has gone to sleep the past several weeks, and taking travel to Baltimore will do them no favors. The season is over here for the Big-Blue, but we still fear that this spread could be ruined late. With that, its hard to bet against a motived Lamar Jackson.
ADF Pick: BAL -10.5 NYG 13 BAL 27 (W)
@SoJash Pick: BAL -10.5 NYG 13 BAL 27 (W)

Cincinnati @ Houston -8
The Cincinnati Bengals shocked the viewing public last week in taking care of business verse the Steelers. This week could see a letdown after being victorious – but we believe there is still pride to play for. Ryan Finley has no interest in closing down shop, as he invigorated the offense on Monday Night. We should see a very similar offensive showing against a Texans squad who can stop a cold.

The Texans are a team that have many faults but could still put-up points with Deshaun Watson. Finding ways to still move the ball without Will Fuller has been nearly seamless. However, they also have nothing to play for and are already interviewing coaching candidates as we speak. Houston should win, but the Bengals will keep it tighter than the line indicates.
ADF Pick: CIN +8 CIN 37 HOU 31 (W)
@SoJash Pick: CIN +8 CIN 37 HOU 31 (W)

Denver @ LA Chargers -3
The Broncos got embarrassed by the Bills last week and will be looking to put up a much better showing. The offense behind Drew Lock has been anemic at best, and will attempt to move the ball on the ground to set up the pass. The key for winning here will be Melvin Gordon as the Chargers struggle to stop the run.

The Chargers are a team that should’ve done a lot better than what they have, but the pieces are in place for them to secure yet another victory. Even with Keenan Allen playing at less than 100%, the Chargers have found life with a nice set of youthful pass catchers that can support Justin Herbert. Denver simply won’t have it and L.A will find another way to win.
ADF Pick: LAC -3 DEN 16 LAC 19 (W)
@SoJash Pick: DEN +3 DEN 16 LAC 19 (L)

Carolina @ Washington -2.5
When it comes to the Panthers, they have done wonderful things this season. Finding a pass game behind Teddy Bridgewater is one of them, but facing the stout Washington front seven will be a difficult task. Washington are leaders of the division and could put a strangle hold on it and will come strong at Bridgewater all day.

The issue we see for Washington is Dwayne Haskins, who appears to not be committed to winning as the starter in relief. With Alex Smith unlikely to suit up again for this contest – he is the primal fear we have in taking a shot on Washington to win. With a three-point spread possibly covered on the strength of the defense – it still is a giant risk. With that, we will gamble as we love their front seven.
ADF Pick: WAS -2.5 CAR 20 WAS 13 (L)
@SoJash Pick: CAR +2.5 CAR 20 WAS 13 (W)

Philadelphia -2.5 @ Dallas
The Eagles have found new life with Jalen Hurst behind center, as the offense has been able to move the ball very well. Facing the Cowboys defense that has been less than adequate this season – Philly will find ways to move the ball with high frequency. This game should be something of a shootout as well, but we like what we see from Hurts.

When it comes to Dallas, Andy Dalton has played well enough to move the ball, but gets little assistance from his defense. The Cowboys will continue to sling the ball and will find room on this Philly secondary. This game still matters for who could win the division, but we can’t move away from how well Hurts has performed.
ADF Pick: PHI -2.5 PHI 17 DAL 37 (L)
@SoJash Pick: PHI -2.5 PHI 17 DAL 37 (L)

LA Rams @ Seattle -1.5
The Rams are coming off a loss to the Jets last week which is why the odds makers are placing this favor to the Hawks. With that said, the Rams already beat the Hawks earlier this season and will be geared up to once again take them down. With the division on the line, the Rams need this win to force a tie atop the leaderboard in the NFC West. We fully expect a much better showing then last week for L.A.

Seattle hasn’t been their best form over the last several contests and we also expect them to be fully prepared. Russell Wilson continues to turn the ball over and now has hit a career high in interceptions. Getting the ground game going will be paramount in this one to help promote the play action pass. This will be a natural slugfest and we will side with the Rams coming off the embarrassment of last week.
ADF Pick: LAR +1.5 LAR 9 SEA 20 (L)
@SoJash Pick: LAR +1.5 LAR 9 SEA 20 (L)

Tennessee @ Green Bay -3
The Titans have shown both extreme abilities to controlling games and subsequently the ability to drop winnable situations. Taking travel to Green Bay will be a tough task, but one they should be ready for. Green Bay struggles to stop the run on the best of days, but the Titans defensive secondary is our major concern. Derrick Henry will be the focal point to control the clock and score points.

The Packers seem to always start fast and cool down as the game moves forward. This is a revenge game of sorts for Matt LaFleur, as he used to be the offensive coordinator for Tennessee. He will want to stick it to his former club and should know the best ways to attack. This is one of the toughest games to predict on the weekend slate – and we’ll jump all over the upset here.
ADF Pick: TEN +3 TEN 14 GB 40 (L)
@SoJash Pick: GB -3 TEN 14 GB 40 (W)

Monday Dec.28

Buffalo -7 @ New England
Finishing off 2020 for the NFL, the Bills take travel to New England to face the Patriots. Buffalo is flying at the moment and continues to pile up the points and statistics. They should be considered a top contender entering the postseason, and this should be a tune up for all aspects to their game.

The Patriots are playing out the string and will miss the playoffs for the first time in many years. Cam Newton continues to struggle and the Bills should have the answer to stop him from moving the ball. The New England defense has regressed so much the past three weeks, that teams can easily run free on them. The season is done and we’d be shocked if Buffalo doesn’t keep the pedal to the metal.
ADF Pick: BUF -7 BUF 38 NE 9 (W)
@SoJash Pick: BUF -7 BUF 38 NE 9 (W)

ADF Week 16 Record: 7-9 (.438)
@SojashPicks Week 16 Record: 10-6 (.625)
