NFL Thanksgiving Special – Point Spread Picks

PLACE YOUR BETS!!!
 WELCOME TO THE THANKSGIVING DAY SPECIAL!!! Last week was another uneven outcome which has dropped our overall record, but we intend to rectify that this week. There is nothing better than Thanksgiving football and we have two games (Baltimore vs Pittsburgh moved to Sunday), to earn money on, while eating our turkey dinner. Let’s start week 12 on a positive note and run the table while gaining funds in our bank account!

NFL WEEK 12 – Predictions (Projected odds makers @ Nov.25.2020 – 12:00PM EST)

Thursday Nov.26

Houston -3 @ Detroit
With the first contest on the slate being the Lions and the Texans, many aspects did have us moving in multiple directions. Both teams have underachieved thus far but have moved in very different directions as of last week. Houston came together verse the Patriots and are relatively healthy heading into this matchup. While being on the road is never favorable, Deshaun Watson looked much better in week 11. Even as Houston holds no run game to speak of, we should witness him move the ball up and down the field through the air.

The Lions on the other hand were shutout at the hands of the Panthers and continue to have injuries to top end player. Kenny Golladay is likely to miss this one again but will get D’Andre Swift back, baring any setbacks. Matthew Stafford will start once again, as he witnessed no impediment on that injured thumb. However, that injury precluded him from being supremely efficient and that should again be the case this week. If Swift does return, we fully expect the ground game to be the primary focus. Houston’s defense is a liability verse the run, so that could keep things very close on the scoreboard. Nevertheless, we’ll side with Watson throwing the ball all over the field, even without Randall Cobb and Kenny Stills.
ADF Pick: HOU -3 HOU 41 DET 25 (W)
@SoJash Pick: HOU -3 HOU 41 DET 25 (W)

Washington @ Dallas -3
The NFC East is a complete mess at the moment, but all teams are still vying to earn that division title. Both Washington and Dallas are in the mix to lead, and the winner of the contest will leapfrog everyone into holding top spot. The last time these clubs met (week 7), Dallas laid a massive goose egg and lost 25-3. Coming off the bye last week and displacing the Vikings, while looking much better overall, Andy Dalton will again lead the offense down the field. Pass rush will be the greatest obstacle for the Cowboys offensive line, and we could again witness defense derail the output.

From the Washington perspective, they have been improving but haven’t looked explosive whatsoever. Having a consistent level of play, while driving the field is how they will move with Alex Smith for the rest of the season. Getting the ground game going will benefit Smith that much more, but we did see improvements from Dallas in run defense last week verse Dalvin Cook. Which Dallas team will come to play is the greatest question mark but we still believe they have much more potential power than Washington. No way the Cowboys allow a season sweep, especially on Thanksgiving.
ADF Pick: DAL -3 WAS 41 DAL 16 (L)
@SoJash Pick: DAL -3 WAS 41 DAL 16 (L)

ADF Thanksgiving Day Record: 1-1 (.500)
@SojashPicks Thanksgiving Day Record: 1-1 (.500)

As the season began, the Chiefs became the greatest show on turf scoring points at will while putting up record breaking statistics in the process. Patrick Mahomes was turning heads with each performance proving that Andy Reid had made the correct choice to make him the starting quarterback. In the first 11 weeks of the regular season, the Chiefs found themselves to be men playing amongst boys racking up 9 victories while only losing to the Patriots and the Rams. In both their losses, the Chiefs still showed great sk
