Follow us as we look at the best to play and sit this week.

START – GET THEM IN YOUR LINEUP

Quarterbacks:
Justin Herbert (LAC)
Justin Herbert has been astonishing since taking over as the starter for the Chargers, and has a good matchup verse the Dolphins. Even as Miami has improved overall on defense, the Chargers matchup well in almost every aspect to put up sound numbers. A 20-point floor is how this will play out.

Drew Brees (NO)
The Saints have been up and down since they lost Michael Thomas to injury, but with him back in the mix and ready to take another leap after his lost time to injury – Drew Brees gets a solid uptick. Facing the 49ers who still have injury concerns all over the field, the Saints will prove they have the most balanced roster in the league this week.

Running Backs:
James Conner (PIT)
Even as James Conner did witness a weaker showing verse a beatable defense in the Cowboys the week prior – this is a bounce back contest if there ever was one. The Steelers will be in a shootout of sorts with Joe Burrow and company trying to keep pace with throwing the ball often. Conner should see much more touches this week against a defense that is prone to give up yards to running backs. He should be a very safe play.

Darrell Henderson (LAR)
The trio mix-up which will be this backfield moving forward will cause issues from time-to-time, but from our perspective and statistical review – Darrell Henderson has proven to be the best reliable back on this offense. Coming off the bye and facing the Hawks who have struggled on defense overall this season, there should be a safe floor for Henderson this week.

Miles Sanders (PHI)
How can we not get excited for the return of Miles Sanders to the field? When he’s on the field of play, this offense just moves that much better and points follow in great waves. Having a true exploiting factor on the ground will promote the pass game and lift this offense as a whole. Facing the Giants in a must win game – Sanders will be a breath of fresh air for all fantasy owners.

Wide Receivers:
Robert Woods (LAR)
Coming off the bye week and facing the Seahawks who give up points to the worst passing games in the league – the Rams should be able to find room all over the field. Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods should have safe floors, but we are giving the touchdown upside to Woods. He has had ups-and-downs so far this season, but this week will be glorious.

Tee Higgins (CIN)
The trend this week will seem to be teams coming off the bye are good plays for week 10, but Tee Higgins is a sneaky sound player verse the Steelers. Pittsburgh has done a good job verse wide receivers for the most part, but the secondary pass catchers seem to have great days on the defense. Out of all the receivers on the Bengals, Higgins could be the best option this week.

Travis Fulgham (PHI)
The offensive transition for the Eagles will continue to change, and Travis Fulgham now has company to help pull coverage from his side. While added weapons could mean fewer targets, the efficiency of the targets directed to Fulgham will be fabulous. Facing the Giants this week is another wonderful matchup that will earn plenty of production.

Tight Ends:
Noah Fant (DEN)
The Broncos offense plays so much better when they involve Noah Fant with levels of regularity. Seeing 19-targets over the past three weeks is a positive sign, and we expect Fant to be heavily involved in a massive divisional showdown. Touchdown upside is all over this play and we fully expect him to find pay-dirt in this one.

SIT – LEAVE THEM ON THE BENCH

Quarterbacks:
Cam Newton (NE)
If you’re still playing the Patriots Cam Newton, we must question as to why? Granted, Newton did save his fantasy day last week – but this week we will see trouble on almost all levels. Facing the Ravens and their incredible defense, we are looking to almost every other situation over this passer this week.

Teddy Bridgewater (CAR)
This is a big contest for both the Panthers and the Buccaneers, but we can’t envision a top end showing from Teddy Bridgewater this week. The last time these club met, Bridgewater scored under eight points, and we fear that will again be the situation. Tampa Bay will be playing hard after being embarrassed last week and this quarterback will feel the brunt of their anger.

Running Backs:
Damien Harris (NE)
Basically, from all perspectives, benching most all Patriots is the way to move this week. New England has seen better days and the light isn’t so clear at the end of the tunnel. Damien Harris has been a nice fill in back with volume attached, but this is the week a defense in the Ravens will take everything away. Look in other directions this week.

D’Andre Swift (DET)
The Lions D’Andre Swift isn’t a must bench, but someone we have great caution on this week. Facing Washington and their stout run defense and front seven – the fear should be placed in the fact he will see little holes to run through. Catching passes is the only thing that will save his day this week. Proceed with caution.

Melvin Gordon (DEN)
Benching any running back in times of great injuries, Covid, and bye weeks, Melvin Gordon is also a cautionary sit over a must bench. Since the return of Phillip Lindsay, Gordon has seen less work which has derailed the overall output. The last explosion we’ve seen from this back is all the way back in week four and the struggle is truly real. We understand if you need to start him, but beware the lower end production.

Wide Receivers:
Jakobi Meyers (NE)
The target pig over the last couple weeks has been the Patriots Jakobi Meyers, but this is the week he needs to be on the bench. Cam Newton has proven he isn’t the player he once was and facing the Ravens defense who will make life difficult for Newton – Meyers will be a dud even when seeing healthy targets. Play at your own risk.

Justin Jefferson (MIN)
Three out of the last four contests has witnessed Justin Jefferson take a step back, but its not all on him. Minnesota is moving toward the run game to be the primary source of offense leaving Jefferson and Adam Thielen the afterthoughts. This week won’t get any easier as Minnesota faces the Bears stout pass defense. There is reason to believe under 10-points will be seen again.

Brandon Aiyuk (SF)
The return of Brandon Aiyuk to the field is something to get excited about, but not enough to play this week verse the Saints. New Orleans has found their mojo on the defensive side and will again be that force against the injury rattled San Fran offense. There are better options this week and we encourage you all to take them.

Tight Ends:
Hunter Henry (LAC)
As much as we like the talents of Hunter Henry, the Chargers offensive coordinator is the one standing in the way of the success of Hunter Henry. Being targeted only six times in eight games in the redzone, is blasphemy in most respects. Henry is far to gifted to not be fed targets for touchdowns with consistency. Until we see otherwise, we must sit him this week.

POTENTIAL BIG DAY – ALL ABOUT THE RISK/REWARD

Quarterbacks:
Jared Goff (LAR)
Based on matchup appeal, the Rams host the Seahawks this week after coming off the bye, and give points in bunches to the quarterback position. The Rams have themselves been underwhelming at times through the air, but this is a get right game for Goff and company. Big day potential is all over this play this week.

Carson Wentz (PHI)
The Eagles themselves are also coming off the bye and are getting healthier with each passing week. Returning to the field is Miles Sanders and Alshon Jeffery, which will provide more power to this quarterback. Wentz hasn’t been terrible when he takes what defenses give, so limiting the mistakes will be a massive piece to his glory. We like the odds!

Running Backs:
Aaron Jones (GB)
Even as the Packers Aaron Jones is a must play every week, part of the goal here is to highlight the top players of the week. Green Bay will face off against the Jaguars which will be like finding gold on your front steps. Jones will be used early and often to inflate the score which will keep you smiling all day. Jones will flirt with being the top back of the week, in week 10.

J.D McKissic (WAS)
With Alex Smith the new full-time quarterback for Washington, J.D McKissic now has giant value in PPR formats, as Smith is known to be captain check down. Last week McKissic saw a whopping 14-targets come his way and much of the same could be seen again this week. He has RB2/3 status written all over him in week 10.

Nick Chubb (CLE)
The return of Nick Chubb to the field has us licking our chops at the possibilities. Strapping on the pads for the first time since week four – there is potential that Chubb could be on a snap count upon his return. Nevertheless, his skill is far to great to keep on the bench and is a must start with high upside this week against the Texans. Fire up Chubb!

Wide Receivers:
John Brown (BUF)
Can you say revenge game!?! The Buffalo Bills will take travel to the desert to face the Cardinals and John Brown returns to the field where it all began for him. The Bills offense is that much better when Brown is on the field as he provides that great mismatch on the field in the deep shot and wide receiver screen game. We will never pass up the opportunity to throw in a player of this caliber for revenge points.

Mike Williams (LAC)
The Chargers have found success in their big play receiver Mike Williams, and the numbers indicate a very strong day verse the Dolphins this week. Granted, we fully understand the mantra that Miami is playing that much better on the defensive side, but they don’t have a player or scheme to this point to stop Williams big play potential. If L.A is smart – they force feed Williams to spread the field.

Randall Cobb (HOU)
In terms of high-risk, high-reward players for week 10, Randall Cobb is that perfect player. Houston will need to find avenues to generate offense this week against the Browns and the forgotten man typically is Cobb. The floor is very slim but the ceiling could be nice to support a flex option this week. Don’t be shocked if eight to 10 targets is the staple for him in this one.

Tight Ends:
Eric Ebron (PIT)
Three weeks in a row, the Steelers have integrated Eric Ebron into the game plan and it has worked wonderfully. Seeing 20-targtes in that span, Ebron has back-to-back weeks of touchdowns scored and could once again find his way into the mismatch verse the Bengals. The risk is always present for a bad showing – but this week could witness great numbers. If your stuck at the position this week, check out Ebron to fill in.
