SUPER BOWL 54 - Point Spread Picks

PLACE YOUR BETS!!! Here we go, this is it, the final stage is set and we’ll finally have a champion come Sunday. Super Bowl 54 is ready to kickoff and we have an absolute dandy on our hands.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers were two of the best clubs this season leaving us torn on who to choose from jump. Having a full two weeks to dissect the situation, we truly feel we have the winner in mind.

This will be the last Point Spread Article of the season and we would like to thank you all for trusting us to help feed your bank accounts. Gladly, our season record will close out above the .500 mark and our all time record still holds positive games for money earned. Good luck this week and enjoy the big game.

ADF Point Spread Picks will be back again next season, but stay tuned to ADF as there is no offseason.

SUPER BOWL 54 – Predictions (Projected odds makers @ FEB.1.2020 – 12:00PM EST)

Sunday FEB.2

Kansas City (Favorite) @ San Francisco
Caesars -1.5
SugarHouse -1.5
Unibet -1.5
SportSelect -1.5

We’ve had quite a bit of time to dissect this contest and what could be the outcome. Both clubs are truly loaded in many areas which should provide a wonderful showing on Sunday.

The Chiefs are built to push the ball offensively lead by the great Patrick Mahomes, and they have been on a tear these past eight weeks. Having everyone healthy at this point of the season leaves us to really question what inadequacy they may have. The largest concern has been the slow starts in the playoffs which has led the Chiefs to play from behind and comeback to win. Defensively the Chiefs have gotten hot at the right time and are flying high from the leadership of Tyrann Mathieu. With both sides playing great football overall, scoring early will be a massive positive for Kansas City as that will allow them to dictate terms.

The 49ers come into this match as one of the best teams in the NFL. With their defense continuing to find strides to be the best in the league, the defensive front will have to force the issue all game long. By all accounts, blitzing typically doesn’t affect Mahomes in the way most would think, as his touchdown ratio actually increases under pressure. Keeping Mahomes in the pocket while rushing only four should be the staple to their game plan. When it comes to this offense, Jimmy Garoppolo will have to bring some magic to keep pace with the high-octane punch of the Chiefs. Leaning on the ground game which has been absolutely fantastic – Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman will have to be the engine that drives this ship.

With everything worked out in the game plans and formalized from both clubs, San Fran will undoubtedly want to control the clock with the run attack leaving all momentum on their side. If they can manage to keep Mahomes off the field, it will be to the benefit of a fresh defense. With that said, the Chiefs have proven to score at a second’s notice and will have their speedsters ready to exploit all mismatches.

As much as we love the 49ers defense and what they can do, Mahomes has been far too good to stop and this looks to be their year. The Chiefs speed will be far too much to contain leaving Garoppolo to play score for score – not the best scenario. It will be a great game, but we’ll side with the Chiefs to finally hoist the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years!
