PLACE YOUR BETS!!! Here we go, we’ve finally
entered championship weekend leaving just four teams vying for a shot at the
Super Bowl. Conference championship weekend is typically very entertaining and
should again be the case this week.
Unfortunately, we took one on the chin last week
dropping all four games verse the spread, with our competitor hitting on three.
While this hasn’t happened to ADF since we started tracking our picks, we look
to rebound this Sunday nailing both games to offset the losses from the week
prior. There will be no tomorrow for these clubs with everything on the line.
Good luck this week!

While this contest wouldn’t have provided pause for us
a few weeks ago, things have changed with the play of the running tank –
Derrick Henry. The Titans have put this club on his back to not only gain those
chunk yards, but to also control the clock. Ryan Tannehill hasn’t been asked to
do a great deal thus far in the postseason, but this would be the game we
should see more responsibility come his way. Tennessee is a very intriguing
team that is riding a wave of momentum, but it has to stop sometime right?
The Chiefs on the other hand are coming off what felt
like the most dominating comeback in NFL history. Having been down by 24 points
in the second quarter, the Chiefs roared back to win putting up 51 points - insanity.
This week the challenge will be in stopping Henry and the Titans ground attack.
Over the course of the past five to six weeks, all teams have struggled to
limit Henry, and the Chiefs will also be in tough. Vegas is holding out high
hopes that many will take the under in belief Kansas City will find that killer
instinct.
With that said, the Titans did find themselves
victorious on this Chiefs club back in week 11 to the tune of 35-32. Could we
see an upset in the making again, perhaps, but we’ll error on the side of
caution.

With the second contest on championship weekend loaded
with talent and possibility, we truly are curious for which team will come out
on top. After seeing how well the 49ers played last week, we find it very hard
to place many negatives on their game. While the return of Dee Ford and Kwon
Alexander was a massive lift for the defense overall, the offense also reaped
the rewards with extra plays. Typically we would always favor the better
defense, but the opponent this week could have something to say about the 49ers
stamping their ticket to the Super Bowl.
The Green Bay Packers have been one of this year’s
most confusing teams, only because it’s difficult to believe they are a true
top contender. This team is soundly balanced with the pass and run, and does
hold a very opportunistic defense. The Packers live by the blitz which could be
a problem in this contest as the 49ers have a very stout run game. On the other
hand, Aaron Jones who has been extremely valuable to the Packers offense as a
whole, will have a nightmare of a time finding lanes on this terrific 49ers
defensive front seven.
Even though we have come around to think Green Bay is
a lot better then what our perception has told us, San Francisco is the real
deal. Aaron Rodgers misses another shot to get back to the big show.
