Typically as the fantasy season nears its conclusion, the free
agent pool becomes extremely thin and this week is no different. If you
survived last week’s six team bye with a victory, count yourself privileged as
that was no easy task.
Heading into week 11 of the NFL season, trusting your starters will
become paramount in your success as its time to trust the players you drafted
to get you to the promise land. However, matchup appeal does exist on the wire and
finding those possible big stat plays are very real. Good luck and happy
shopping.
Quarterbacks:
Kyle Allen (CAR) (16%)
With news that Cam Newton has found his way to injured reserve,
Kyle Allen will continue to be the clubs starting pivot. Allen is coming off a
sound performance against the Packers in throwing his first 300-yard game. His
schedule is very favorable moving forward and could assist your club if you’re
in need. We have liked the progression and this week could again have solid
earning.
Mason Rudolph (PIT) (10%)

Running
Backs:
The Atlanta Falcons mustered more than enough to upset the Saints
last week and will be forced to move forward with Brain Hill as the starting
running back. Devonta Freeman will be lost for the next couple weeks to an
injury and with Ito Smith landing on injured reserve, Hill has a glorious shot
to prove what he can do. The Falcons will have no issue moving the ball as they
have done in the past, which leaves Hill as the top waiver choice this week.
Top priority rests here.

Wide
Receivers:
When the Cowboys signed Randall Cobb from the free agent market
this past offseason, our thought was a match made in heaven. Until this past
week, nothing great has materialized. To our delight against the Vikings on
Sunday Night Football, Dallas finally used his talents to exploit the
opposition. Cobb still has a lot of juice in the tank and should now become a
staple in the pass game. PPR potential will always be the floor.
Deebo Samuel
(SF) (15%)
In seeing Emmanuel Sanders walk off the field on Monday Night to a
rib injury, word on his injury still hasn’t been seen. Clearly the 49ers
struggled in his absence in the pass game, but the one constant became Deebo
Samuel. His showing was by far his best of the season and he will be leaned
upon if Sanders misses time. Watch the injury report and place a claim for
Samuel just in case.
The Buffalo Bills offense still hasn’t turned that corner in the
pass game like we all had hoped. However, Cole Beasley has done more than
enough to provide a decent level of points in that flex position. Having yet
another sound matchup verse the Dolphins this week, the Bills will be looking to
get back on track in the win column and Beasley should again have a large role.
Holding a good PPR floor, the upside rests in the redzone on short outs.
With how this rookie has been playing of late, he would’ve taken
the top spot for wide receivers to pick up this week, but being on the bye we
must concede. Slayton has been extremely productive in two of the last three
weeks, and should continue to have a role. At this point he would be a great
bench stash for the final push to win that fantasy championship.

Tight-Ends:
When the Seahawks
lost Will Dissly for the season to injury, again the gaping hole at the
position was clear. Now it appears trust has been placed in Jacob Hollister to
be that steady tight end on this offense and he will have a big role moving
forward. Speed has never been his issue but rather consistency. Perhaps now we’ll
witness what he can do with Russell Wilson. Hollister is a top waiver claim moving
forward.
OJ Howard (TB) (35%)
Finally we
witnessed the Buccaneers remove the barricades from OJ Howard to show what can
be achieved. Howard should be a consistent part of this offense moving forward
which oozes potential. With that said, there will always be fear that targets won’t
come his way, but the fact that Howard showed well, he should be a high
consideration off the wire.
Kyle Rudolph
(MIN) (10%)
The Vikings Kyle Rudolph found ways back to good graces this past
week with Adam Thielen on the sidelines. This type of production will be far
and few between when Thielen comes back to the field, but in the meantime, take
full advantage of the expanded role. With news that Thielen may not be back
until after the Vikes bye week, you have a couple games to gain the upside in
targets.
