Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire Targets

Typically as the fantasy season nears its conclusion, the free agent pool becomes extremely thin and this week is no different. If you survived last week’s six team bye with a victory, count yourself privileged as that was no easy task.

Heading into week 11 of the NFL season, trusting your starters will become paramount in your success as its time to trust the players you drafted to get you to the promise land. However, matchup appeal does exist on the wire and finding those possible big stat plays are very real. Good luck and happy shopping.

Quarterbacks:
Derek Carr (OAK) (45%)
The Oakland Raiders have found themselves in a situation where they are back in the playoff conversation. Behind the play of their outstanding rookie running back, Derek Carr has again found that reliable play. Heading into this week’s matchup, the Raiders face the lowly Bengals which could be a great show for Carr. At this point, he is the best stream quarterback off the wire based on ownership percentage.

Kyle Allen (CAR) (16%)
With news that Cam Newton has found his way to injured reserve, Kyle Allen will continue to be the clubs starting pivot. Allen is coming off a sound performance against the Packers in throwing his first 300-yard game. His schedule is very favorable moving forward and could assist your club if you’re in need. We have liked the progression and this week could again have solid earning.

Mason Rudolph (PIT) (10%)
More of a speculative play in week 11, the Steelers Mason Rudolph hasn’t been overly impressive thus far, but he does hold a sound matchup this week. The Steelers defense has proven they are the real deal which should provide more offensive opportunity against the Browns. If you’re really stuck to find points, Rudolph might be able to help the cause.

On the Radar:
Ryan Fitzpatrick (MIA) (11%)
Brandon Allen (DEN) (2%)
Dwayne Haskins (WAS) (2%)

Running Backs:
Brian Hill (ATL) (5%)
The Atlanta Falcons mustered more than enough to upset the Saints last week and will be forced to move forward with Brain Hill as the starting running back. Devonta Freeman will be lost for the next couple weeks to an injury and with Ito Smith landing on injured reserve, Hill has a glorious shot to prove what he can do. The Falcons will have no issue moving the ball as they have done in the past, which leaves Hill as the top waiver choice this week. Top priority rests here.

Derrius Guice (WAS) (37%)
It’s an exciting time for us to see the talents of Derrius Guice back on the field. Finally coming off injured reserve, we are shocked that his ownership rate still rests under 50%. Granted, we do understand that the Skins offense has been anemic this season, we could see a different group come to play this Sunday. Guice should be eased back into action early, but the potential to feed carries is real so upper management can evaluate what they really have in Guice. This may be the last chance to snag his services.

Kalen Ballage (MIA) (37%)
As we expected, Kalen Ballage did receive the lion share of the work from the back field last week but didn’t turn heads. Having 24 touches is a massive sample size that should’ve brought with it greater statistical achievements. Nevertheless, facing the Bills this week who have giant issues stopping the run, we could witness a much better day. Ballage won’t have many more golden opportunities, but this could be his week to shine.

On the Radar:
Paul Perkins (DET) (0%)
Nyheim Hines (IND) (18%)
Alexander Mattison (MIN) (29%)
J.D McKissic (DET) (21%)
Ty Johnson (DET) (37%)
Myles Gaskin (MIA) (0%)

Wide Receivers:
Randall Cobb (DAL) (10%)
When the Cowboys signed Randall Cobb from the free agent market this past offseason, our thought was a match made in heaven. Until this past week, nothing great has materialized. To our delight against the Vikings on Sunday Night Football, Dallas finally used his talents to exploit the opposition. Cobb still has a lot of juice in the tank and should now become a staple in the pass game. PPR potential will always be the floor.

Deebo Samuel (SF) (15%)
In seeing Emmanuel Sanders walk off the field on Monday Night to a rib injury, word on his injury still hasn’t been seen. Clearly the 49ers struggled in his absence in the pass game, but the one constant became Deebo Samuel. His showing was by far his best of the season and he will be leaned upon if Sanders misses time. Watch the injury report and place a claim for Samuel just in case.

Cole Beasley (BUF) (32%)
The Buffalo Bills offense still hasn’t turned that corner in the pass game like we all had hoped. However, Cole Beasley has done more than enough to provide a decent level of points in that flex position. Having yet another sound matchup verse the Dolphins this week, the Bills will be looking to get back on track in the win column and Beasley should again have a large role. Holding a good PPR floor, the upside rests in the redzone on short outs.

Darius Slayton (NYG) (11%)
With how this rookie has been playing of late, he would’ve taken the top spot for wide receivers to pick up this week, but being on the bye we must concede. Slayton has been extremely productive in two of the last three weeks, and should continue to have a role. At this point he would be a great bench stash for the final push to win that fantasy championship.

On the Radar:
Alex Erickson (CIN) (17%)
N’Keal Harry (NE) (12%)
Josh Reynolds (LAC) (10%)
Russell Gage (ATL) (2%)
AJ Brown (TEN) (30%)
Hunter Renfrew (OAK) (10%)
Diontae Johnson (PIT) (18%)
Andy Isabella (ARZ) (1%)
Malik Turner (SEA) (0%)
Devin Funchess (CAR) (5%)

Tight-Ends:
Jacob Hollister (SEA) (7%)
When the Seahawks lost Will Dissly for the season to injury, again the gaping hole at the position was clear. Now it appears trust has been placed in Jacob Hollister to be that steady tight end on this offense and he will have a big role moving forward. Speed has never been his issue but rather consistency. Perhaps now we’ll witness what he can do with Russell Wilson. Hollister is a top waiver claim moving forward.

OJ Howard (TB) (35%)
Finally we witnessed the Buccaneers remove the barricades from OJ Howard to show what can be achieved. Howard should be a consistent part of this offense moving forward which oozes potential. With that said, there will always be fear that targets won’t come his way, but the fact that Howard showed well, he should be a high consideration off the wire.

Kyle Rudolph (MIN) (10%)
The Vikings Kyle Rudolph found ways back to good graces this past week with Adam Thielen on the sidelines. This type of production will be far and few between when Thielen comes back to the field, but in the meantime, take full advantage of the expanded role. With news that Thielen may not be back until after the Vikes bye week, you have a couple games to gain the upside in targets.

On the Radar:
Mike Gesicki (MIA) (38%)
Tyler Eifert (CIN) (8%)
Ryan Griffin (NYJ) (2%)
Noah Fant (DEN) (16%)

Week 11 Defensive Streams:
Dallas Cowboys (44%) – Playing Detroit
Oakland Raiders (4%) – Playing Cincinnati
Jacksonville Jaguars (51%) – Playing Indianapolis
New York Jets (22%) – Playing Washington
