Week 11 of the fantasy season is a
point that could make or break many owners. Finding those matchups while going
with gut feeling should typically prevail.
Still with teams on the bye and
injuries becoming extremely difficult to overcome, adjusting your roster while finding
those players who will produce the most production is part of our process. Follow
us and we’ll get you those wins. Good luck!

Quarterbacks:
As the Saints came off the bye week and laid an absolute egg on the
scoreboard, Drew Brees really didn’t give his owners much to smile about a week
prior. For the first time in the Brees and Sean Payton era (when Brees has
started a game), the Saints were held to under 10 points. This week verse the
Buccaneers weak secondary, expect the pass game to be full throttle.
Dak Prescott
With Matthew Stafford already ruled out for this matchup verse the
Cowboys, starting Dak Prescott becomes that much more pretty. The Boys defense
will provide more opportunity for their offense to work their magic and
Prescott should see little resistance. We should see multiple touchdowns and
over 300-yards as the floor here.
Running Backs:
The Chargers playoff chances are clearly on life support and will
have to be at their best verse the Chiefs on Monday Night. Melvin Gordon has
been much better these past couple weeks and shouldn’t have much issue burning
the Chiefs defense. Playing this game in Mexico City, we could be in for a
showcase for the Mexican viewership. Really like Gordon to have a big day.
Devin Singletary
The Buffalo Bills will have to be much better this week as they face
the Dolphins in a very important contest. The Bills hold a wildcard spot and
will need to keep pace with a prime matchup. Devin Singletary has been trusted
to carry more of the load and should find room with an expanded playbook. The
Bills will be very hungry in this one and stats will be plentiful.
Brian Hill
This week’s top waiver choice, the Falcons Brain Hill is locked and
loaded to see a bunch of work in this one. Atlanta will be without Austin
Hooper and Devonta Freeman which should open up many opportunities. The Falcons
haven’t had much issue moving the ball all season and will make it hard on the
Panthers defense. If you were lucky enough to grab him, fire him up.
Wide Receivers:
Suggesting to start Marquise Brown last week paid off, and again we
preach much of the same. Playing the Texans who match up well verse the run
game, Lamar Jackson will have to show his moxie once again through the air.
This contest should have a great deal of back and forth, and we will see the
deep shot attempted more than once verse a weaker Houston secondary.
Mohamed Sanu
With the Patriots coming off the bye week, it would’ve given Mohamed
Sanu more time to get acclimated to the system. Facing off against the Eagles
this week who have supreme difficulty stopping the pass, Sanu looks like a
great play. Tom Brady will be looking early and often to his new toy, and this
could be something of a breakout game for Sanu in a Pats uniform.
Terry McLaurin
Clearly the Redskins have a great deal of problems on both sides of
the ball, but are going up against the Jets who hold their own share of
insufficiency. Terry McLaurin should get back on track. Dwayne Haskins has been
named the team’s starter for the time being which does lower the overall
potential of McLaurin, but we truly see this contest full of chemistry between
the two. Great matchup, some level of risk here.
Tight-Ends:
Recommending to play Kyle Rudolph again this week after his two-touchdown
contest isn’t just a simple reaction. The Vikings will again be without Adam
Thielen for this match and Stefon Diggs will get Chris Harris all day. Kirk
Cousins will again be forced to feed Rudolph and he should find room over the
middle.
Jared Cook
Much like the Drew Brees evaluation, Jared Cook will be back in a
very big way this week as the Saints will be fired up. Facing the Bucs defense
that has major issues stopping the pass, Bress will spread the ball all over
the field. Tight end has been very tough to predict, but we love the odds of a
very sound day from Cook.
SIT - LEAVE THEM ON THE BENCH
Simply put, it’s impossible to endorse the play of Carson Wentz this
week given the circumstances. Alshon Jeffery has been ruled out and the
receiving core the Eagles currently have is depleted. Facing the Patriots
league best secondary to boot, we see nothing but wrong here in Philly. Better
options are out there, find them.
Jared Goff
At this point I can no longer preach anything positive for what the
Rams are doing. Faced with yet another difficult matchup this Sunday, Goff will
again struggle. The offensive line is in shambles, and the run game is
stagnant. Better days will be had, but we need to see it to believe it first.
Don’t get sucked into playing Goff this week.
Running Backs:
The Bears released their injury report and it shows David Montgomery
tweaking his ankle at practice. While he’s pegged to play verse the Rams, Monty
will have a tough time finding any lanes to run through. The remaining schedule
is very good once this contest is in the books, so keep him on the bench this
week.
Phillip Lindsay
Suggesting to sit the Broncos Phillip Lindsay is more speculative
then a certainty, but nevertheless, we can’t force ourselves to start him.
Taking travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings with Brandon Allen as the
quarterback, everything will come back down to earth. Lindsay will get his
chances, but the Vikes will close the door quick.
Todd Gurley
Have we seen top flight runners fall from grace this fast before in
history? This year we have seen a couple elite running backs take a massive
side step and one is Todd Gurley. The knee issue clearly is a bigger concern
then we thought which has forced Gurley to not be as productive. Facing the
Bears this week doesn’t give us the warm feeling, even though they have given
up good numbers on the ground. Much like Lindsay, if you have a better option,
start that over Gurley this week.
Wide Receivers:
With the absolute emergence of Christian Kirk last week with all big
plays going to his side, Larry Fitzgerald will be relegated to that secondary
role moving forward. Facing the 49ers this week, a team they played a couple
weeks prior, we can’t envision Fitzgerald finding much room. The good days are
behind him verse top defenses.
Marvin Jones
No Matthew Stafford means no Marvin Jones. Even though the Lions
were able to move the ball with some level of statistical achievement last
week, we find it difficult to see Jones out pacing Kenny Golladay in this one.
Gaining just over 10-points last week verse the Bears, we’ll bet the under this
week against the Cowboys.
Stefon Diggs
With Adam Thielen again not playing in this contest, one would feel
that Stefon Diggs would have a bigger role. While we agree with that notion,
Diggs will have to contend with Chris Harris this week who has locked down
everything in his path this season. Diggs will be the team’s decoy in this
match and nothing formidable will be the result.
Tight-Ends:
Granted the Colts look to get Jacoby Brissett back behind center,
Eric Ebron hasn’t been anything special this season. Drops once again fill his
game film and missed opportunity should again be this case this week. The Jags
defense still cover the tight ends well and should provide little room for him
to get free. A touchdown is the other thing saving Ebron on a weekly
basis.
POTENTIAL BIG DAY – ALL ABOUT THE RISK/REWARD
Quarterbacks:
We have been extremely supportive for the Panthers Kyle Allen since
taking over for Cam Newton. This week especially, Carolina faces the Falcons
who shouldn’t be able to recreate their blitz packages leaving yards to be
gained. Allen and the Panthers will use screens to Christian McCaffrey with
abundance to cool any pressure from Atlanta, which will leave the adjustments
to favor Allen. A big day is on the horizon.
Jimmy Garoppolo
The last time Jimmy Garoppolo faced the Cardinals, he had one of his
best performances of his career. Understandably, the 49ers have received a lot
of injuries over the past few weeks and look to be without Emmanuel Sanders and
George Kittle once again. Either way, The Cards defense can’t stop a cold and
Coach Shanahan will dial up new plays to help the cause.
While the Jets LeVeon Bell has disappointed us so far this season,
we still can’t get off the fact that the upcoming matchups are glorious.
Washington is in full blown evaluation mode already and the defense can’t compete
for a full 60-minutes. Even though Bell is playing hurt and has drawn the
questionable tag, finding the endzone should almost be a formality in this one.
PPR points should lift the value, where a touchdown or two could take him over
the top.
Derrius Guice
This is perhaps one of the riskiest plays of the week, but we can’t
help ourselves with promoting the start and potential big day. Derrius Guice
has seen basically no action since being drafted by the Skins last season, and
we really want to see what he can do. The Skins coaching staff has already
suggested an even time share between Adrian Peterson and Guice, and we can see
a touchdown happening here. It could be a giant bust, but we’ll take the
chance.
Austin Ekeler
Much like Melvin Gordon, this Chargers offense will lean on the
ground game and short passes in hopes to displace the Chiefs. Kansas City has
had a very tough time stopping the run, and will be hard-pressed again with
Gordon and Austin Ekeler. PPR points should be the staple for Ekeler this week
as the Chargers look to spread the defense out. Could both backs earn over
12-points, it’s not out of the question.
Wide Receivers:
Randall Cobb
Ok, ok, we know, but how can we resist? The Dallas Cowboys finally
used Randal Cobb last week and he proved he could be very productive. With
Amari Cooper still dealing with knee and ankle issues, and facing the Lions
which should be a rather easy win, Cobb should again be the vocal point in the
pass. We may be greatly disappointed with lack of targets, but we’ll bet that
saving Cooper will be on the minds of the play caller.
Deebo Samuel
With Emmanuel Sanders looking to miss this matchup, Deebo Samuel
will again be thrust into the number one role to help Jimmy Garoppolo in the
pass game. Samuel is coming off his best showing of the season and looked very
good in the process. With an A+ matchup on the docket, we could see a plethora
of targets come his way.
Jamison Crowder
There is nothing like a revenge game to lift the level of a player.
Jamison Crowder will return to Washington for the first time since leaving this
offseason. Wanting to prove that the Skins should’ve paid for his services,
Crowder should get all that he can handle in the form of target share. Coach
Gase is the question mark as he tends to move away from Crowder after the first
half, hopefully that won’t be the case here.
Tight End:
With Kyle Allen throwing his first 300-yard game of his career last
week, the confidence only continues to rise and should be the case with Greg
Olsen being that safety blanket. Carolina used Olsen a lot last week and that
should again be the case in this contest. While McCaffrey and DJ Moore will be
the primary, Olsen will act as clean up and has great potential to find the
endzone at least once.
