Its hard
to believe there is only six more weeks of the fantasy regular season left. Securing
those victories will be vastly important in the coming weeks to hold a playoff
berth. While injuries and bye weeks will continue to be a problem, we have a
list of players to start or sit for this week seven matches. Follow us and we’ll
get you those wins.
START - GET THEM IN YOUR LINEUP
Quarterbacks:
While
playing the matchup is always the first go-to option, starting all Bills
players with heavy offensive roles should be the staple this week. Coming off
the bye while playing at home, Bills-Mafia will be ready to go. This should be
a tune-up contest for Allen and company which should generate at least 25-points.
Jared
Goff (LAR)
Jared
Goff and the Rams have looked abysmal these past few weeks, but this should be
the contest to get them back on track. Facing a Falcons defense that can’t stop
a cold, we should see fireworks from this Rams offense. Goff should be able to
generate a whopping level of statistics this week.
Running Backs:
The undefeated
49ers take long travel to the east coast to face the struggling Redskins. While
Coleman and this run game have been rather impressive these past two weeks, it’s
the 49er defense that will provide more opportunity. With additional shots on
offense, Coleman will again be leaned upon to move this offense. Another
endzone trip is on the docket.
Leonard
Fournette (JAX)
Matchup’s
are the name of the game this week, and yet another juicy contest to help you
gain those wins rests with Jacksonville. Taking on the lowly Bengals, the Jags
will run the ball down their throat leaving Leonard Fournette a potential top
earner in fantasy. Fournette has again become a trusted weekly starter, but
this week should make you smile.
Frank
Gore (BUF)
Granted,
the injury report has suggested that Devin Singletary will return from the
medical room to face the Miami Dolphins. Nevertheless, the Bills will ease
their rookie back into action and once again lean on the savvy veteran. As the
weeks move forward, Gore will see his role decline, so get him in your lineup
this week to produce heavy one last time.
Wide Receivers:
Clearly
there is a commonality here in our piece to suggest many Bills players to have
a field day. While we aren’t wrong, John Brown too will have a monster day.
This contest will truly act as a tune-up for this offense to see what they
really can do verse a weak opponent. Josh Allen will try many times for the
deep shot leaving our mouth watering with the potential. Fire up Brown in every
league.
Michael
Gallup (DAL)
While
the injury reports are suggesting that Amari Cooper will suit up for this match,
we aren’t convinced that he’ll have much of a role. Cooper should hold as a
decoy in this contest to move coverage from Michael Gallup. Dak Prescott will
again have to muster everything in his arsenal to beat the Eagles and Gallup
will be the most productive on Sunday verse a weak secondary.
DJ
Chark (JAX)
As
the weeks move forward, we continue to gain trust in the Jaguars up and coming
star DJ Chark. With Gardner Minshew throwing the ball extremely well, he gets
back on track this week and Chark will be a massive part of this game plan.
Some may question this start based on the numbers, but fear not, Chark will find
the endzone and climb over 100-yards in this one rather easily.
Tight-Ends:
By
now, the Ravens Mark Andrews has become a household name that should again warrant
a start in your lineup. Taking travel to Seattle will bring with it major challenges,
but Andrews is prime to have a day. Where the Hawks struggle the most is defending
the middle of the field and Andrews should roam free. The risk with this play
is again Lamar Jackson finding him with regularity. We still love this start.
Evan
Engram (NYG)
The
New York Giants have a glorious opportunity to show what they can do this week
with nearly all offensive pieces back on the field. Evan Engram returns from
injury along with Saquon Barkley, which will give Daniel Jones ample looks all
over the field. Hosting the Cardinals is another great advantage and we believe
this Giants club will go off.
SIT - LEAVE THEM ON THE BENCH
At
this point of the season, we aren’t comfortable to endorse the Chargers whatsoever.
Adding to the negative thought, their opponent in the Titans will bring with it
more issue. The Titans defense is a sound group that will give this offense
fits. Phillip Rivers proved he’s losing force on the ball as his age continues
to climb. We fully recommend benching Rivers this week on the road.
Sam
Darnold (NYJ)
While
the Jets looked sharp last week displacing the Dallas Cowboys, falling back
down to earth will be the notion when they face the Patriots. New England has
one of the best defenses in the NFL and will make it very tough for Sam Darnold
and company to get moving. Based on matchup, we’ll sit Darnold this week and
wait for better days.
Running Backs:
Typically
coming off the bye week, we would preach the start of most running backs, but
we are troubled with David Montgomery. The Saints possess a defense that has
shutdown most if not all runners this season, and hard times will be on the horizon.
Montgomery will have much better days ahead with a schedule easing up, but we aren’t
confident he’ll put up good numbers this week.
Kerryon
Johnson (DET)
By now
its clear how we have felt about the Lions Kerryon Johnson, and this week again
we have nothing encouraging to say about playing him. Facing the Vikings stout
run defense will make you cringe as the game wears on, and we fully recommend
keeping him on the bench. The Lions will have to win through the pass game
leaving the potential for goal line touchdowns for Johnson. Far too big of a
risk in our eyes.
Melvin
Gordon (LAC)
Much
like the evaluation for Phillip Rivers, Melvin Gordon hasn’t and wont gain
steam this week against the Titans sound defense. Coming off his holdout to
secure more dollars, Gordon has been a massive disappointment and shouldn’t find
his feet for at least another couple weeks. We can’t sell Gordon to start
whatsoever.
Wide Receivers:
Super
rookie Terry McLaurin has made waves so far this season, but this will be the
week to look the other way. Facing the 49ers impressive defensive unit, Case
Keenum will be under duress for the entire contest leaving little work for
McLaurin. San Fran is finding their way into the elite category in stopping offenses,
and this one should be rather easy. Keep him on the bench.
Dede Westbrook
(JAX)
With
the ascension of Gardner Minshew, Dede Westbrook has been the one to take a
back seat in the form of sound production. DJ Chark has been the favorite
target of the rookie passer and it will again be the case this week. Westbrook also
hasn’t done himself many favors in dropping the passes that have come his way.
We need to see more from Westbrook to preach a start.
Tight-Ends:
The
Rams Gerald Everett was a hot commodity off the wire a couple weeks prior, but
again his usage has dictated terms. Its not that Everett doesn’t have skill,
but the game plan is what makes him valuable. Facing the Falcons defense that
will allow Goff to do whatever he wants; the Rams receivers will feast over the
tight end this week.
POTENTIAL BIG DAY – ALL ABOUT THE RISK/REWARD
Quarterbacks:
Much
like all young passers, having a defense with grave inadequacy will go a long
way in building confidence. This week hosting the Cardinals on their home turf,
the Giants receive a gift with super star Saquon Barkley back in the mix. This
will only assist Daniel Jones further to help apply the play action pass. A
very big day could be on the docket.
Ryan
Tannehill (TEN)
Before you scoff at the notion, we are in full support of the Tians moving on from Marcus Mariota and playing Ryan Tannehill this week at home. Tannehill will always throw his fair share of interceptions, but he has enough talent to find his plethora of receivers with consistency. If you are stuck at the position, Tannehill could be a very sound play this week.

Recommending
to play the Cardinals backup Chase Edmonds comes with great speculation. David
Johnson isn’t 100% and could in fact miss this matchup. If that is indeed the
case, Edmonds will take on the feature role and most definitely find his way into
the endzone at some point of the contest. Watch the injury report and play him
if Johnson sits.
Jordan
Howard (PHI)
The Eagles
have looked like a powerhouse of sorts when they install the run game into
their offensive game plans. This week on Sunday Night Football, the Eagles face
the Cowboys in a massive divisional showdown and should lean on Jordan Howard.
Dallas hasn’t looked like the team which started the season and will be hard
pressed to find their game against the Eagles. Howard should have a sound day
in primetime.
Wide Receivers:
Coming
off the bye while playing at home, the Colts will have go toe-to-toe against
the Texans who again have found their offense. TY Hilton has a history in going
off against the Texans and we can envision that happening once again. Having
that extra week of preparation is very encouraging and we could see Hilton have
a very big day.
AJ
Brown (TEN)
We
wont stop preaching the notion that Ryan Tannehill will get the ball to his
talented group of receivers until we see otherwise. Rookie AJ Brown is a
supremely gifted player that should develop instant chemistry with Tannehill.
There is an obvious risk still present until we see proof, but we love the
potential and will recommend this play with ease.
Allen
Lazard (GB)
Seeing
a player of Allen Lazard’s stature rest on a start list is surprising to us as
well. This play has a great deal of circumstance attached simply as the Packers
again are dealing with a good level of injury. Virtually the entire core is
nursing issues in the medical room leaving Lazard a potential big game player.
If your really stuck for a starter, Lazard could find the endzone once again.
Tight-Ends:
We haven’t been in a situation where we’ve
said many negatives toward the Lions TJ Hockenson, and this week will be the same.
The Lions will have their struggles against the defense but the solid matchup
rests here at the tight end position. Hockenson has seen a good level of up and
down so far this season, but this game will bring him back to the good books.
As the season wears on, Hockenson will be a staple start.
