PLACE YOUR BETS!!! Welcome to the SUPER BOWL!!!! The time
has finally arrived and the biggest game of the season is upon us. With media questioning
nearing its end, each respective coaching staff places the final touches on
their game plans in preparation for the main event.
Vegas
has chosen to side with the Patriots in this contest placing a field goal spread
for Tom Brady and his troops. We anticipated the money line to shift toward the
Rams but it continues to gain value for New England.
This
will be the final edition of ADF point spread picks for another year as we were
able to amass another +500 record for the entire season. We truly hope our
advice provided insight to the betting public to secure more victories than
losses while stacking your bank accounts in the process. We look forward to
returning next season and thank all of our followers & readers for the continued
support.
Let’s
break it down and review our selection for Super Bowl 53 Champion! Let’s get
that money! Good Luck!

We at ADF have been back and forth on who we believe
will come out on top in this contest. Both squads possess a great deal of
talent, but one is far more experienced (the Patriots) leaving giant upside in
their favor.
The Rams are a group that will need to play near
perfect football on offense, starting with running the ball with great effectiveness.
Todd Gurley will surly have a monster role to play in this one with CJ Anderson
playing change of pace battering ram style. Jared Goff will have to be proficient
in his reads as we fully expect Bill Belichick to bring the heat in multiple
blitz packages to confuse the young quarterback. Coach Sean McVay will have
many tricks up his sleeve in hopes to remove those targeted blitzes.
Defensively, it starts and stops with the Rams front
four as Wade Phillips definitely plans to lean on Donald and Suh to clog up the
middle, leaving Brockers and Fowler to see single blockers and hopefully making
an impact off the edge. Keeping the rest of the defense in man coverage while
having the line backers support in stopping the run, we can’t envision many
blitzes coming from Los Angeles in this contest.
The Patriots on the other hand should employ a game
plan which is very similar to what we witnessed against the Kansas City Chiefs.
New England will attempt to run the ball, as they have all season, while mixing
up the short pass to James White to loosen the Rams front seven. Time of possession
will be key as the Patriots are masters in the patience game waiting for their opponent
to make adjustments then pouncing on each opportunity. Everything setup from
New England will begin with the run game followed by short passes.
While most of the conversation this week has be
directed to the Rams defense, the Pats actually employ a group that is more
than capable of shutting down high powered offenses. Bill Belichick is
supremely confident in his secondary that wavering on sending the blitz is
never a doubt. Keeping young quarterbacks on their toes has been the mantra of
the Belichick regime and will again be in this contest. Forcing Jared Goff to make
mistakes while rushing his progressions will be a common occurrence on Sunday.
Keeping the Rams in 3rd & long while bringing the heat could be
the difference.
While
the smart bet would be to take the points and side with New England to bring
home their 6th NFL championship, the Rams may be young enough to not
fully realize the magnitude of this contest. It’s extremely difficult to move
away from New England, but we believe this is the best all-around group Brady
has seen all season. New England could come out on top, but we will gamble and
suggest the points won’t be covered in Super Bowl 53!
