Start - Quarterback:
Dak
Prescott (DAL)
The
Cowboys got the best news they could’ve hoped for, as Zeke Elliott has been
granted stay and is eligible to play on Sunday vs the Chiefs. This ultimately
raises Dak to a top level for fantasy football this weekend. The Chiefs give up
the 10th most to QBs this year with a leaky defense that will be in
tough to stop Dallas with all the pieces in play. Prescott had his worst performance
of the season last week vs the Redskins, and we fully expect a massive rebound
as he should be able to carve up the Kansas City 30th rank defense.
This has all the making of a shootout and points should be a plenty.
Drew
Brees (NWO)
Brees
and the Saints have been rolling since losing their first two games racking up
five straight wins. Drew’s play has been uneven over his last three games,
amassing a top point total of 19.93 and a floor of 9.77. Chin up Brees owners,
he has an A+ matchup vs the Tampa Bay Bucs who give up the 7th most to
fantasy QBs this season. Adding to the matchup the Saints are playing under the
confines of Mercedes Benz Superdome. All signs point to playing all the Saints
top players as Drew should get back on track in this one.
Russell
Wilson (SEA)
Its
incredibly difficult to come up with a case to bench Wilson at this point. The
man has been on fire dropping 31 & 41 points respectively over the last two
games, and that should continue at home vs an injury rattled Redskins defense.
The Skins give up the 15th most to QBs this season and Wilson has
lifted his game to another stratosphere! He literally is taking this team on
his back - finding holes in the opposition while playing behind a terrible
offensive line, amazing. His schedule is extremely favorable so get used to
having him in your lineup for the foreseeable future.
Play with Confidence:
Alex
Smith (KC)
Cam
Newton (CAR)
Derek
Carr (OAK)
Jared
Goff (LAR)
Potential Big Day:
Jacoby
Brissett (IND)
Start - Wide Receiver:
Dez
Bryant (DAL)
Bryant
is in line to have a monster day vs a Chiefs squad that gives up the 2nd
most to fantasy WRs this season. Dez has seen a massive 37 targets over his
last four games and that should continue against the Chiefs. Playing at home
the big three (Dak, Dez, Zeke), should all be able to find room and run free in
a potential shootout at Cowboys stadium. We can easily see Bryant drawing a
line of 6-8 Rec, 85-120 yards, and 1 TD.
Michael
Thomas (NWO)
Thomas
has been mostly consistent in PPR leagues this year, disappointing his owners
in standard leagues. The narrative should change this week as Thomas has the
best matchup for any fantasy WRs on Sunday. Tampa Bay allows the most points to
WRs this season and traveling to New Orleans I see much of the same being
exposed. Thomas and company should put up great numbers as the Saints look
prime to roll to 6-2. He will make you smile this weekend.
TY
Hilton (IND)
Some
may be surprised to see TY on the start list, however, this week is an extreme circumstance.
The disappearance of Hilton as of late after a good start to the season lays
simply on the Colts brain trust. They haven’t been very creative getting him
the ball while he consistently sees double coverage on a weekly basis. This
week Hilton has a good matchup vs the Texans who give up the 8th
most to WRs. Adding to that, the horrible news that rookie sensation Deshaun
Watson has been lost to an ACL tear should help the Colts and Hilton see the
field in masses on Sunday. The Texans defense should be gassed by the middle of
the 3rd quarter, as their offense won’t be able to sustain drives
providing all the opportunity for the Colts to produce. Hilton should have a
good day we haven’t seen in quite some time.
Mike
Evans (TB)
Evans
hasn’t had the success we had all predicted at the start of the season but has
been productive to say the least. Earlier in the season seeing the Saints as this
matchup would’ve made owners salivate for the potential of a monster outing. While
the Saints have greatly improved on the defensive side of the ball giving up
the 17th most to fantasy WRs, Evans always seems to get up for the
Saints. Mike should draw rookie DB Lattimore as the primary cover-man to which
he could show him a thing or two! This game has the potential for lots of
points on the board, as the Bucs look to save their season in a big divisional
game. Evans should find the endzone this week.
Play with Confidence:
Jarvis
Landry (MIA)
Golden
Tate (DET) (PPR)
Michael
Crabtree (OAK)
Robert
Woods (LAR) (PPR)
Potential Big Day:
Cory
Davis (TEN)
Ted
Ginn Jr. (NWO)
Russell
Shepard (CAR)
Aldrick
Robinson (SF)
Start - Running Back:
Kareem
Hunt (KC)
Hunt
saw his worst game of the season last week vs the stout Denver run defense only
producing 46 yards on 22 carries. That should most definitely change this week
as they face the Cowboys. Dallas ranks in the middle of the pack giving up the
16th most to fantasy RBs this season, however, they haven’t played a
back like Hunt (outside of Todd Gurley) yet this season. Andy Reid is very familiar
with his former divisional foe and should construct a game plan that will see
many touches going to his workhorse. This has the makings of being the game of
the week. Hunt will find 100 yards and a TD this week.
Mark
Ingram (NWO)
I’ve
never been the biggest Ingram fan, but he is making me take notice. This man
has been on a mission since the Saints traded Peterson to the Cardinals. Set to
prove his critics wrong Ingram has dominated his last three games piling up
almost 70 fantasy points in PPR leagues. This shouldn’t change at all on Sunday
as Ingram has a juicy matchup vs the Bucs that give up the 10th most
to RBs this season. Ingram most definitely will find the endzone on Sunday.
Jonathan
Stewart (CAR)
Stewart
who has been a massive disappointment this season is really not that surprising.
Jonathan is showing his age and the miles that have piled up over the years.
Stewart simply doesn’t have much left in the tank but will expel the last bit
of fumes to our advantage. The Falcons give up the 6th most to
fantasy RBs and J-Stew is here to help get you through the bye-week. While
McCaffrey will dominate the touches, Stewart will have an important role in a
massive divisional game for both clubs. Jonathan should see his usual 13-15
carries and will find his way into the endzone this week. He should help you
with bye week trouble.
Adrian
Peterson (ARZ)
With
the injury to Carson Palmer the Cardinals season hangs in the balance as Coach
Arians turns to journeymen Drew Stanton to run the show. Playing the 49ers who give
up the most to fantasy runners this season, the stage is set for Arizona to
feed AP all day to get the victory. He came back down to earth last week after
his spectacular debut as a Cardinal. The 49ers have given in to the fact they aren’t
a very squad, and Arizona’s game plan should be force the run and play sound
defense. Peterson is in for a monster day.
Play with Confidence:
DeMarco
Murray (TEN)
Alvin
Kamara (NWO) (PPR)
Marshawn
Lynch (OAK)
Todd
Gurley (LAR)
Zeke
Elliott (DAL)
Chris
Thompson (WAS) (PPR)
Christian
McCaffrey (CAR) (PPR)
Potential Big Day:
Ameer
Abdullah (DET) (PPR)
Kenyan
Drake (MIA)
Start – Tight End:
Jimmy
Graham (SEA)
Graham
and the Seahawks are flying high these last few weeks and Jimmy has an A+
matchup vs a Redskins team that gives up the 4th most to fantasy
TEs. Wilson has been finding his stud tight end with regularity over the last three
games as Jimmy has found the endzone four times, a trend we see continuing this
week. Jimmy is poised to have 5 Rec 80 yards and at least 1 TD on Sunday.
Zach
Ertz (PHI)
Ertz
has been the most consistent TE this season piling up no less than 10 fantasy
points in every game in PPR leagues this year. Playing the Broncos, most would
think now is the time to bench the star tight end, this is not the case. The
Broncos weakness rests at Line Backer and Safety where they struggle to cover tight
ends and give up the 3rd most at that position. The Eagles Wide Receivers
should be in tough vs the No-Fly-Zone where Etrz is primed to take advantage.
Zach should see heavy volume in this one as the Eagles look to get to 8-1 on
the season.
Play with Confidence:
Jack
Doyle (IND)
Evan
Engram (NYG)
Potential Big Day:
Tyler
Kroft (CIN)
OJ
Howard (TB)
