Hard to believe we are
at the final week of the Fantasy Football regular season! For all those gearing
up for the playoffs, now is the time to protect your team with some high
quality depth in case of injury. For those planning to re-tool in Keeper or
Dynasty formats this will be your last opportunity to grab potential performers
to hold for next year. Here are the best Week 13 Wavier Targets. Good luck.

Quarterbacks:
Case Keenum (MIN)
It’s impossible to
ignore the play of Case Keenum any longer. He seems to have found his stride
within the Vikings offensive scheme that allows his talents to flourish. After
putting up nearly another 30 point fantasy day vs the Lions on Thanksgiving,
Case has yet another favorable matchup this week vs the Falcons. If you require
a viable streaming option, Keenum should be your guy this week. Owned in 46% of
leagues you still have an opportunity to grab him.
Josh McCown (NYJ)
Another straight
matchup for stream QB goes to Josh McCown for Week 13. Owned in only 31% of
leagues you will have the option to plug and play the journeymen quarterback
for a nice matchup vs the Chiefs. Josh had his best game of the season last week
putting up 30 fantasy points vs a tough Panthers defense. Having another home
date the Jets should give the struggling Chiefs all they can handle and McCown
should continue to throw up points. If you’re stuck or want a better option,
Josh might be your man.
Tyrod Taylor (BUF)
Yet again we see Tyrod
back in the mix of a top wavier addition at his position. Owned in 50% of
leagues Tyrod should be available for you to plug and play in a decent matchup
vs the division rival New England Patriots. This matchup is very intriguing as
the Bills are playing in the comfortable confines of New Era Field, where the
home town fans will enjoy a meaningful game in December for the first time in a
while. The evaluation of Tyrod will be on red-alert to see if he in fact can
rise up and carry his team to pastures not seen in 17 years. He should be a
great play either way as garbage points could be large. If you see him on the
waiver you may want to take a chance.
Brett Hundley (GB)
In deeper leagues you
may want to take a flyer on Brett Hundley this week. Coming off an impressive performance
vs a stingy Steelers defense ,Hundley showed poise making great throws and
producing points. Owned in only 7% of leagues his matchup vs the lowly Bucs
should allow for a repeat performance from last week. The boom or bust
potential is very high as he is still becoming acclimated to the pro game but,
has shown good progression these last few weeks. He is an option if needed.
Jimmy Garoppolo (SF)
Enter the Jimmy G era
in the bay as Garoppolo came off the bench late last week to throw his very
first touchdown as a 49er. This evaluation is strictly for bench stashing and/or
for preparation of next year’s league keepers and dynasty formats. San Fran has
gone on record saying that if they can’t get a deal done, they will franchise
the young quarterback making him a viable option in 2018. In extremely deep
leagues he might be a good pickup and bench stash as a wait and see what he can
do this week. Either way ADF is very interested in seeing Jimmy G preform.
Running Backs:
Jamaal Williams (GB)
How many running backs
can the Packers go through in one season having them produce at high levels?
Jamaal wasn’t a secret coming into the season as he was challenging for the
starting role back in camp. Injuries derailed his start, but also have placed
him back in the driver seat. Williams is a quick one cut runner that was able
to gash the Steelers defense last week and should find much of the same
success. He is available in 42% of leagues and has an A+ matchup vs the Tampa
Bay Bucs. He more than likely will be a must start this week so if he’s there,
scoop him up.
Matt Forte (NYJ)
At this point of the
season adding depth is very important so you don’t find yourself scratching your
head on who to play if you encounter an injury. Matt Forte is back on the radar
for the playoff push as the Jets have very favorable matchups for the
championship weeks. Owned in 39% of leagues he should be there for the taking
and will provide much needed depth for your team. No hesitation here, if he’s healthy
he will play and produce.
Jonathan Stewart (CAR)
Stewart is back on the
list as a top add simply because the running back pool is extremely limited.
The upside J-Stew provides every week is his ability to find the endzone on
goal line opportunities, again proven last week vs the Jets. Owned in 38% of
leagues he has a great matchup vs the Saints in a massive divisional game where
he will 100% see goal line work. If you are really stuck and need potential touchdowns,
Stewart should provide. Be aware of boom or bust as he won’t wow you with
yardage anymore.
On the Radar:
Potential Running Back Targets: Travis Cadet (BUF),
Jalen Richard (OAK), Andre Ellington (HOU), Mike Davis (SEA), Byron Marshall
(WAS)
Wide Receivers:
Johnny Holton / Seth Roberts (OAK)
Potential top additions
as plug and play players, goes to the Raiders Seth Roberts & Johnny Holton.
With the recent suspension to Michael Crabtree and the injury sustained by
Amari Cooper, these two receivers could be in for a big day. Having a good
matchup vs the New York Giants playing in Oakland, each could see their fair
share of 6-7 targets a piece. At first glance it appears that Holton will
become the biggest benefactor taking over the outside responsibilities while
Roberts will man his regular spot in the slot. We will have to pay close
attention to the Raiders practices this week to see who’s getting the lion’s
share of the reps, but as of today Holton could have a decent day.
Martavis Bryant (PIT)
Bryant has found his
way back on the map due to the JuJu Smith-Schuster injury. Owned in 54% of
leagues he will again be a popular addition for teams struggling to roster top
flight talent. With Bryant however, you will have to endure the inconsistency
of dropped balls and potentially lost production. There’s always the
possibility of a deep touchdown for Martavis, but his targets will be limited
to 4-5 a game. This add is speculative at best as word of JuJu’s status hasn’t been
made as of yet. If JuJu in fact suits up, Bryant’s value goes to the bench. This
is a must watch situation.
Zay Jones (BUF)
The hype of Zay Jones
has increased over the last few weeks as the top flight rookie is beginning to
make plays for the Buffalo Bills. Owned in 14% of leagues he should be in the
waiver for the taking. Most importantly Jones has seen a massive uptick targets
as the Bills brain trust is trying to get him the ball as much as possible. He
does have a fairly difficult matchup this week vs the Patriots but will house
favorable situations for the fantasy playoffs. Not only is Zay getting more
praise on the field, but has recently become a YouTube star in his levitation getting
up off the field from the Chiefs game last week, a must see. Jones is beginning
to prove his ability and should continue moving forward.
Josh Gordon (CLE)
Speculative addition of
the week goes to Josh Gordon. Most owners have already jumped on the Gordon
train even though he hasn’t seen any playing time for years. Owned in 51% of
leagues you may still find the athletic once potential star waiting in the
waiver pool. It’s impossible to trust the potential production at this point,
as we have no idea how Gordon will be integrated into the Browns terrible offense.
With that said, Gordon is a must add bench stash as the potential for targets
could equal production. We can’t endorse a must start as of yet but is a definite
wait and see.
On the Radar:
Potential Wide Receiver Targets: Cordarrelle Patterson (OAK), Travis Benjamin (LAC), Ryan Grant (WAS), Kenny
Golladay (DET), Mike Wallace (BAL)
Tight Ends:
Ricky Seals-Jones (ARZ)
When you do something
one week it’s easy to discount that, but when it’s done a second week you get
on the radar. It may be time to grab Seals-Jones and potentially place him in
your starting lineup. Ricky is available in all leagues owned with a 2% stake overall,
but his recent stat line is something to take notice of. Over his last two
games he has seen 11 targets for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns, hard to overlook.
Blaine Gabbert loves his check downs and it seems Seals-Jones has been
implemented into the Cardinals redzone offense. In deeper leagues Ricky is a
must add, while others leagues strapped for positive Tight End play,
Seals-Jones might give you a leg up. Still the potential for boom-bust is real,
but at this point he is worth a bench spot if you can support it.
Hunter Henry (LAC)
The underwhelming
season of Hunter Henry continues as his game has become straight up Jekyll
& Hyde. There is no rhyme or reason to the volume the coaching staff
employs their Tight End group which includes the great Antonio Gates. Even
playing the matchups has burned fantasy owners where a sure thing turns into a
complete disaster. This might be the last time ADF endorses a Henry waiver
pickup for 2017. The matchup facing the Chargers and Henry is extremely
favorable not to mention the schedule moving forward the next five weeks. Henry
is available is 33% of leagues and this might be the time to re-employ the
potential star. As the Chargers continue to role you would envision Hunter’s
role increasing, time will tell as the boom or bust may continue to
frustrate.
On the Radar:
Potential Tight End Targets: Charles Clay (BUF), Dwayne Allen (NE)
