The Fantasy playoff
push is in full swing as three weeks remain on the season schedule. The pool of
players is starting to get thin on the waiver, but let’s see if we can find
some value. Here are the best Week 11 wavier targets. Good luck.

Quarterbacks:
Eli Manning (NYG)
Bye weeks still could
hinder your starting QB situation this week and the savor may be Eli. Owned in
50% of leagues and going up against the Chiefs who allow the most to fantasy
throwers this season, Manning could provide a decent game for you to get
through. The potential exists for Eli to provide garbage time points as the
Giants season is a wrap and they will be playing out the string.
Jay Cutler (MIA)
Owned in 18% of
leagues and facing the Tampa Bay Bucs who give up the 11th most to
fantasy QBs this season, Jay should have no issue generating his 13-18 points
this week. With a new found running game and the potential for garbage time
points, Cutler could get you through the bye week.
Running Backs:
Austin Ekeler (LAC) (PPR)
Ekeler has become the
go to for Philip Rivers as his main check down on passing downs. Owned in 5% of
leagues he does possess value in PPR formats. This week he has a great matchup
vs the Bills who now give up the 2nd most points to fantasy runners.
Rivers has been most successful in his career when he has a capable RB that can
catch out of the back field, they may have found a solid weapon in Ekeler.
Might be a stretch in standard leagues, but should be owned in PPR.
Samaje Perine (WAS)
Perine again has been
thrown into a starting position for the Redskins as Rob Kelley is out and
possibly will be sent to IR. Owned in only 8% of leagues Perine has another opportunity
prove he can hold onto the ball and support Chris Thompson in the back field.
He should see a lot of action as the primary goal line back so long as he can
hold onto the ball.
Jamaal Williams (GB)
Williams may be the most
attractive back to pick up this week as starter Jones went down with an injury
and Montgomery is far from healthy. Owned in 8% of leagues you should have no
issue snagging Jamaal off the wire. Playing the Ravens who are middle of the
pack in giving up points to runners, Williams may be leaned on to carry the
load.
Wide Receivers:
Dede Westbrook (JAX)
Yet again Dede has
been patiently waiting for his opportunity to be activated from IR and see his
first action of the regular season. With the injury to Allen Hurns, and the
word coming out that he won’t play this week, opens the door to see Dede suit
up. Owned in only 20% of leagues he is a must add and watch to see what kind of
production he will provide. More than likely he is a bench stash at this point
but could provide great value during the playoffs.
Taylor Gabriel (ATL) (PPR)
Gabriel has been hit
and miss this season, but it’s very clear when the Falcons succeed on offense
Taylor has had a big impact. Playing the Seahawks who give up the 16th
most to fantasy WRs and now without Richard Sherman that number could increase.
Owned in 13 % of leagues he is poised to have a decent game. Earl Thomas is
expected to return to the lineup and should aid in double covering Julio Jones
leaving Taylor open to run free on Sunday. Definitely worth a look in PPR
formats.
Dontrelle Inman (CHI)
Speculative add this
week goes to Dontrelle Inman of the Chicago Bears. Owned in 2% of leagues he
saw a nice 8 targets last week hauling in 6 for 88 yards. The Bears have no
real viable number one wide receiver to speak of, and Mitchell Trubisky seems
to have gained the trust of the coaching staff to allow him to air the ball out
a little more. Still very difficult to trust as the Bears offense is dictated
and driven by the run game. Inman has placed himself in the bench stash
category.
Mike Wallace (BAL)
Wallace and the Ravens
haven’t been anything to praise in the passing game this season, however,
Wallace should be able to produce this week vs the Packers who give up the 5th
most to WRs. Owned in 24% of leagues and coming off the bye with a favorable
matchup all signs point to Wallace having a decent day if you’re stuck. He
always possesses a boom or bust potential but has a high ceiling for finding
the endzone.
Tight Ends:
Martellus Bennett (NE)
Usually change of scenery
helps those increase productivity, in Bennett’s case it’s the old stomping
grounds. Owned in 34% of leagues Bennett has once again found a role in the
Patriots offense that will provide fantasy owners with better value than he
gave in Green Bay. Playing the Raiders this week who give up the 6th
most to fantasy TE’s, we could see both Bennett & Gronkowski find pay dirt
in week 11. Martellus may be a main stay in your lineup helping you for the
playoffs. He is a definite must add.
Jermaine Gresham (ARZ)
Gresham has definitely
picked up steam these last few weeks with the absence of Carson Palmer.
Typically with inexperienced and/or not so efficient quarterbacks, the first
check down for a reliable target is the tight end. With Drew Stanton and now
possibly Blaine Gabbert replacing Stanton due to injury, we could see another 7
targets + to the Cardinals TE. Gresham has an A+ matchup vs the Houston Texans
who give up the 7th most to the position. He could be a huge help to
your squad down the stretch.
Best Week 11

Philadelphia – Playing Dallas
New Orleans – Playing Washington
