PLACE YOUR BETS!!! In the NFL Week 1 is
always difficult. Made a late push to get the season record back to respectability!
Much like Week 1, Week 2 is full of interesting spreads. Here’s my take! Let’s
make some money. Good Luck!

The Bengals
took an out-right beating at the hands of the Ravens last week. Playing at home
on a short week should help them get back on track. Houston looked lost vs a perennial underachieving Jags squad. Watson should give the Texans offence some improvement.

The Ravens
looked like an unstoppable machine last week, especially on defense. Cleveland
held their own at home vs the Steelers. Home opener for the Ravens coming off a
huge win. Both teams have low end offences from week 1. I see Baltimore winning
but not covering the spread. BAL doesn’t cover the spread @ -8 CLE 10 BAL 24 (L)

Buffalo didn’t
dominate like I believed they would last week vs the NYJ. The Panthers looked
timid behind Cam and his repaired shoulder. I’m really curious to see what
former Panthers DC (now Bills HC) McDermott does to his former squad, he has insider trading
here! Tough call but I don’t see Carolina covering. CAR doesn’t cover the spread

Losing David
Johnson was a massive blow to the Cards; luckily they have a few backs to
recreate him with a good game plan. The Colts looked like a pop-warner team
last week getting blown out by the Rams. Expect a heavy dose of passing from
Palmer and company. Zona rolls over the helpless Colts. ARZ covers the spread @ -7.5 ARZ 16 IND 13 (L)

The Titans aggravated
me with the lack of commitment to the run game vs the Raiders to which cost
them the game last week. Hopefully they viewed enough tape to go back to their roots
and understand the run is the track to get this train moving. The Jags looked
impressive while launching their defense atop the NFL in standing, even though
they played a terrible Texan offence coming off a massive hurricane relief
effort. I fully expect the Titans to get back to their ways and run their way
to victory. TEN covers the spread @ -2.5 TEN 37 JAX 16 (W)

The Chiefs
looked fantastic in the season opener vs NE. Losing Eric Berry was massive to
that defense and may see some holes moving forward. The Eagles impressed me
with their late game power, I believe in that Eagles defense. I think KC is a
very good team but need to see it more to become a true believer. I’ll roll
with the home team on this one. KC covers the spread @ -5.5

The Pats
were embarrassed at home opening night of the season. The lack of depth at WR
should be a concern but knowing New England and Belichick’s game plans, he will
give a heavy dose to Gronk and the running backs. The Saints need to figure out
how to produce on offence because that defense yet again can’t stop a cold. I
can see a shootout between the two elites. NE doesn’t cover the spread @ -6.5 NE 36 NWO 20 (L)

looked surgical dismantling the Saints. I absolutely love Minny’s WR core and

playing at home you think they would have the edge but not enough to cover. PIT

The season
opener for the Bucs due to the recent hurricane in Florida. I like what the Bucs
have added but think it might be difficult as this is their first game of the season.
The Bears impressed me with good defensive play vs Atlanta last week. The Bears
defense is greatly underrated and I see them making plays to stay in this game.

The Chargers
made a great 2nd half push to almost complete the comeback. I do
like aspects of the Chargers offence but don’t think they are dominating. Miami
like Tampa will be playing their first game of the season due to the hurricane.
Normally I would side with the home team based on long travel but the Dolphins
have been in LA for over a week and should be accustomed to the time change.

ticket to the Raiders bandwagon 3 years ago and haven’t fallen off. I love what

One of the
most intriguing matches of the weekend. Dak didn’t wow me on Sunday Night
Football but his resolve did. He came back after throwing inaccurate balls
throughout the 1st half. Denver looked fantastic early on vs the
Chargers but had unfortunate turnovers that almost cost them the game. That
Denver defense still looks powerful. I’m taking the home team here. Dallas

I liked what
I saw from the Rams and that new look offence. They have so many weapons; it
will be difficult to game plan against. Jared Goff impressed me with his improved
progression. That being said it was vs a terrible Colts team. Washington looked
average as they completely gave the game away in the latter stages. I will
always favor the home team with an opponent that has massive travel miles. LAR

Another two
touchdown spread to think about. This one is more difficult as I didn’t see a
ton to get excited over from the Hawks first game at Lambo. However, the 49ers
will be what they are this year and that’s not saying much. Seattle is always a
beast at home and vs a terrible foe I could see this one happening. I will

What a treat
we should be in for on Sunday Night Football!!! Get your popcorn ready!!! This
one to me is an absolute dart board throw. The edge goes to ATL (home team)
simply because they are unveiling their new digs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and
that crowd should be off the hook. I like how the Packers played on both sides
of the ball especially the defense. This one could go either way.

That Giants
offence looked horrible vs the Cowboys Sunday Night. Rumor has it that Beckham
Jr will suit up and play. Even if he acts as a decoy (possible) it should help
others like the invisible Brandon Marshall and company find room to move. As I mentioned
in the #ADF Draft Kit the Giants did nothing to address the OL issues and it was
quite apparent. Detroit doesn’t travel well and doesn’t like the outdoors. I do
like how the Lions moved the ball and the healthy talent they have. That Giants
Def is nice but I wonder if they can beat the Lions. I will gamble on the road
team here. NYG doesn’t cover the spread @ -3.5 DET 24 NYG 10 (W)
