Start - Quarterback:
Tom Brady NE
Drew Brees NWO
Andy Dalton CIN
Eli Manning NYG
Trevor Siemian DEN
Of course, the great Tom Brady is a must start most
weeks but this week he has a great matchup vs a hobbled Panther squad. The Pats
should be able to exploit the amount of time Carolina is on the field defensively.
Drew Brees should have a great day in front of the London crowd vs a Dolphins
team that needs a rebound. This game could see a lot of points and should be
very entertaining. Dalton has an A+ matchup vs a Browns squad that still has no
clue to what they are about. I saw great improvement in the offence last week
at Green Bay to which I expect the same this weak vs a weaker opponent. Normally
Eli wouldn’t get my endorsement but the Bucs are playing extremely short handed
on defense. As bad as the Giants have looked and travel won’t be on their side,
I expect Eli and OBJ to light fireworks. Siemian should have a bounce back game
at home vs a weaker defense in the Raiders. Re-grouping and playing at home
should be the recipe Trevor needs to get back on track.
Play with confidence:
Tyrod Taylor BUF, Blake Bortles JAX, Russell Wilson
SEA,
Potential Big Day:
Jared Goff LAR
Start - Wide Receiver:
Jarvis Landry MIA (PPR)
Michael Thomas NWO
Antonio Brown PIT (PPR)
AJ Green CIN
Stefon Diggs MIN
Allen Hurns JAX
Odell Beckham Jr. NYG
Emmanuel Sanders DEN
Landry has an A+ matchup vs a terrible Saints defense
that couldn’t stop a cold. In PPR he is a must start. Michael Thomas should be
able to continue his recent form and with the return of Willie Snead it should
open things up. Brown vs the Ravens should be a close low scoring game, he
should however see his share of the targets making him a good play in PPR. AJ
Green has a great match-up this week vs the Browns. The Bengals receiving core
is really banged up to which AJ should benefit from an overload of targets, he
should find the endzone this week. Diggs keeps impressing me as the weeks go on
that I’m forced to endorse him as a must start even with Keenum getting the
start. The way Case played last week it’s very hard to argue benching the
Vikings WRs. Hurns has a great play vs the Jets and has taken advantage of
every opportunity he has been given so far, I like this start a heck of a lot.
As mentioned for Eli, OBJ is playing vs a depleted TB defense and should find
room to run free in Florida, no brainer here. Sanders has almost become the 1A
to Thomas as 1B. He is finding room all over the field in the first 3 weeks and
I expect that to continue.
Play with confidence:
Dez Bryant DAL, Robert Woods LAR (PPR), Golden Tate
(PPR), Sammy Watikins LAR, Larry Fitzgerald ARZ, Demaryius Thomas DEN, Rishard
Matthews TEN (PPR), DeAndre Hopkins HOU
Potential Break-out:
Zay Jones BUF, Willie Snead NWO
Start - Running Back:
LeSean McCoy BUF
Joe Mixon CIN
Todd Gurley LAR
Ezekiel Elliott DAL
Leonard Fournette JAX
Melvin Gordon LAC
Kareem Hunt KC
Shady McCoy should have all the room in the world to
run free vs a Falcons defense that is prone to give up big plays. As promised
Shady has been the vocal point of the Bills offence and that should continue.
Shady will find the endzone in Week 4. Mixon got his bulk of carries last week
as the OC delivered on the promise to get this man more touches. We should
begin to see what Joe Mixon really is. Gurley and the Rams have played well so
far and I believe they will continue with the pedal to the metal. He should
find the endzone this week in Dallas. Elliott hasn’t really shown me much on
the field so far. I do believe this game will bring back Zeke - the man we
know. Fournette has been very consistent so far and is becoming one to trust
week in week out. With a juicy match-up in New York he should continue. Gordon
has the luxury of not seeing Fletcher Cox (injured) plugging up the middle of
the Philly defense. He should find room to run and continue his great play.
Kareem Hunt has become a must play, but we’ll see his toughest test to date.
The Redskins defense has a terrific front seven and if Hunt can find holes in
that, well, we are witness to something special in the making.
Play with confidence:
Demarco Murray TEN, Dalvin Cook MIN, CJ Anderson DEN,
Chris Carson SEA, Andre Ellington ARZ (PPR), Christian McCaffrey CAR (PPR), Bilal
Powell NYJ (PPR), Chris Thompson WAS (PPR)
Start – Tight End:
Zach Ertz PHI (PPR)
Jimmy Graham SEA
Charles Clay BUF
Rob Gronkowski BUF
The Tight-End pool is playing as well as they did last
year, not good! Ertz has become very reliable in PPR formats and if you have
him he is now a must start. He has taken over the role of slot man getting his
fair share of the targets, he will reward you with a TD soon. Graham, though
playing hurt, has a great match-up this week on SNF. I expect Seattle to continue
to feed Jimmy and get that offence back on track. Clay has become a good
redzone target for Tyrod and this week it may continue. I expect Zay Jones to
finally show something but Clay will get his chances. Gronk is a must start
when healthy. We know what he does and vs a Panther defense that will be extremely
exhausted by the mid third quarter, he should have a big day.
Play with confidence:
Jason Witten DAL, Jared Cook OAK, Mercedes Lewis JAX
