The continued weak play of the top
Running Backs and Tight End injuries dominated the story lines in Week 2. Here
is your guide to the best players and players to keep your eye on.

Quarterbacks:
Trevor Siemian (DEN)
Mike McCoy has made Siemian look like a
true #1 QB. I do believe Siemian will have his off days but McCoy is the best
OC in the NFL and he will squeeze every ounce out of Trevor. Worth a bench
stash for bye weeks, and great match-up starter.
Jay Cutler (MIA)
In his first game he looked ok but not great. But as mentioned in the All Day Football Draft Kit, Cutler isn’t afraid to
throw the ball down field to his many play-makers. Another good bench stash and
match-up play.
Alex Smith (KC)
Smith still sits on a number of waiver
wires. His play did drop off this week from the fantastic Week 1 but if he’s
there and you need a QB snag him now.
Guys to watch: Jared Goff (LAR)
Running backs:
Chris Carson (Sea) If you didn’t follow the advice from last week you likely will miss the boat on Carson. He should be scoped up in most leagues as he has taken over the starting job in Seattle. The coaching staff is in love with him and will force him the ball. Even behind a horrible OL Carson will get fed. Must pick up.
Buck
Allen (BAL) If by chance Allen still sits on your
waiver put in a claim. He is the best all-around back the Ravens have. Count
yourself lucky to get him now.
Chris Thompson (WAS) As mentioned last week Thompson has earned a role on
this Redskins offence. Washington will monitor his work load but he is a must
add in PPR formats.
Jalen Richard (OAK) He is a speculative add
this week just because he had a great game in relief of Lynch. He will be a
pure boom or bust but the way that offence is rolling he could be good in PPR.
Temper the expectations.
Chris Johnson (ARZ) Might be worth the
bench stash, as the Zona run game didn’t look very good last week and the rumors
are that CJ2K will get a lot more carries this week. If you have the room you
might score on this one.
Guys to watch: Wendell Smallwood (PHI), Jerick McKinnon (MIN), Alvin Kamara (NWO), Brandon Oliver (LAC), Jamaal Charles (DEN), Andre Ellington (ARZ)

Wide Receivers:
JJ Nelson (ARZ) as mentioned last
week on the players to watch, JJ is now a must add. John Brown will stay on the
bench and Nelson should take over the #2 WR position for the Cardinals.
Mohamed Sanu (ATL) Another mention last week, if you grabbed him you are
laughing. Sanu looks to have built a good rapport with Ryan and should get
plenty of targets. Must add.
Jermaine Kearse (NYJ) Still sitting on many wavier wires
Kearse is a must add for any WR needy team. He will dominate the targets and
get garbage time points. Must add in PPR.
Rashard Higgins (CLE) With Coleman going
down again with a broken hand the major benefactor is Higgins. He saw a whopping
11 targets in relief and I see that trend continuing. A must add in PPR
formats.
Brandon Coleman (NWO) for deeper leagues
Coleman is an attractive target. Sneed is still on suspension and he has earned
the trust of Brees. If you need a WR this week he could have a decent game.
Guys to watch: Marqise Lee (JAX), Kendal
Wright (CHI), Bennie Fowler (DEN), Chris Conley (KC), Torrey Smith (PHI),
Curtis Samuel (CAR)
Tight Ends:
Jack Doyle (IND) If Doyle sits on the
waiver grab him and don’t look back. He has an A+ match-up this week and is
getting more looks with Brissett throwing the ball.
Evan Engram (NYG) Engram is the real deal
and should be on your team. Even though the Giants look terrible right now he
should still see decent games.
Coby Fleener (NWO) Same as last week if Fleener is in the waivers pick
him up. With Sneed still on suspension, as expected Fleener saw more targets,
should continue.
Hunter Henry (LAC) Many did the knee
jerk reaction and dropped Henry from his awful week 1 you might be in luck to
get a quality TE. Pick him up.
Eric Ebron (DET) It seems like Ebron (when
healthy), should have a decent role on the Lions offence. Good add this week.
Ed Dickson (CAR) If you desperately need
a TE this week (like most do, injuries), take a flyer on Dickson. Olsen went
down with a broken foot and is gone for the next 6 week minimum. Could be a
producer.
Guys to watch: OJ Howard (TB), Jared Cook
(OAK), George Kittle (SF), Jesse James (PIT), David Njoku (CLE), Gerald Evertt
(LAR)
