Philadelphia Eagles Offseason WorkBook 2019

Philadelphia Eagles 2018 Record: (9-7) 2 nd NFC East 2018 Season Recap: Offense Points: 22.9 (18 th ) Yards: 365.3 (14 th ) Pass Yards: 267.2 (7 th ) Rush Yards: 98.1 (28 th ) Defense Points:  21.8 (12 th ) Yards: 366.2 (23 rd ) Pass Yards: 269.2 (30 th ) Rush Yards: 96.9 (7 th ) Eagles-Nation was riding high during the 2018 offseason after winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history. With that success, came greater expectations for this club to repeat those feats entering the 2018 regular season. With Carson Wentz recovering from his torn ACL, the Eagles brass understood that going back to Nick Foles to start the season was their only option. Seeing roster turnover and stacking the defensive line group, this version of the Eagles surly viewed as a club ready to compete in returning to the big show for a second straight season.      Right from week one, the Eagles didn’t appear to have that same killer instinct they possessed d

Cincinnati Bengals Offseason WorkBook 2019

Cincinnati Bengals 2018 Record: (6-10) 4 th AFC North   2018 Season Recap: Offense Points: 23.0 (17 th ) Yards: 310.8 (26 th ) Pass Yards: 205.6 (24 th ) Rush Yards: 105.1 (21 st ) Defense Points:   28.4 (30 th ) Yards: 413.6 (32 nd ) Pass Yards: 275.9 (32 nd ) Rush Yards: 137.8 (29 th ) Entering the 2018 regular season, our outlook for this edition of the Bengals was far higher than most in our circle. Though we have never been great supporters of Marvin Lewis, we felt this club could do some damage and compete for the division crown. With Andy Dalton still behind center, we expected better showings with Joe Mixon relieving pressure, now given the responsibility of being the team’s number one back. We have never been shy in our support and praise for superstar AJ Green, and with Mixon adding to the offensive prowess, sky was the limit in our eyes. As we preached a favorable outlook for the Bengals, they returned the favor early on

Pittsburgh Steelers Offseason WorkBook 2019

Pittsburgh Steelers 2018 Record: (9-6-1) 2 nd AFC North   2018 Season Recap: Offense Points: 26.8 (6 th ) Yards: 403.3 (4 th ) Pass Yards: 313.0 (2 nd ) Rush Yards: 90.3 (30th) Defense Points:   22.5 (17 th ) Yards: 327.2 (6 th ) Pass Yards: 231.1 (10 th ) Rush Yards: 96.1 (6 th ) The 2018 offseason began much like the year prior in terms of supreme headlines dictated toward the future of star LeVeon Bell. Continuing his disgruntled outlook feeling disrespected to have been given the franchise tag for the second straight season, early indications had Bell sitting out until the first week of the regular season as he did in 2017. As time continued to move forward, Bell remained away from the team standing firm in his holdout, looking to sit out the entire season in hopes to become a free agent at its conclusion. Pittsburgh had no choice but to forge ahead with second year back James Conner, and the output was glorious to say the least. Wi

Chicago Bears Offseason WorkBook 2019

Chicago Bears 2018 Record: (12-4) 1 st NFC North 2018 Season Recap: Offense Points: 26.3 (9 th ) Yards: 343.9 (21 st ) Pass Yards: 222.8 (21 st ) Rush Yards: 121.1 (11 th ) Defense Points:  17.7 (1 st ) Yards: 299.7 (3 rd ) Pass Yards: 219.7 (7 th ) Rush Yards: 80.0 (1 st ) After an abysmal 2017 season which saw the Bears finish last in the NFC North, massive change over to the team occurred leaving 2018 expectations up in the air. While Bears ownership chose to move in a direction guided by offseason output, Coach Matt Nagy surly had his work cut out for him. Matt Nagy was an aspiring up and comer who received his offensive tutelage from a master in his own right (Andy Reid), and tasked with propelling this Bears squad to another level behind second year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. It was abundantly clear that if this Bears team would have any ambitions to improve, adding talent to the offense would be the primary objective. Sign
